I think this is more a case of you not liking a promo than the crowd "turning" on him because of it. You're trying to argue the audience doesn't REALLY have an investment in Bryan...because you don't like some face promo he did. Come on.

He's just not that good, man. Not everyone can get something because they want it real bad.It hurts when someone who is passionate about the sport and what it means to be champion has to struggle to get to the top while others are just get shit handed to them. I hope he get's something good out of this.
Dolph Ziggler comments on winning the Intercontinental Championship
They're invested as much as they are with Ziggler or the Usos or any other midcard star who isn't really exceptional or especially charismatic, sure.

Lesnar hasn't conqueredGoldberg
When have they hijacked an entire Royal Rumble because Ziggler or Jey Uso wasn't in it? You're just denying basic observations now.
the Mania main event was what it was simply by virtue of them loving Bryan so much and rejecting the idea of him not being in there, pretty sure they're invested in him
to be honest, it's hard not to be when you're shoved into a feud with the terminally boring kane. And what did he do with it? Nothing really. He was injured and his cup of coffee as the guy was boring and unremarkable. He had a feud with Kane where he showed all the passion and charisma of a chair.

anger issues bryan should come back, with this look.

Daniel Bryan is ok, he's just not the guy, sorry. B Plus.
He's just fine as the underdog guy chasing the belt.
I think you're saying Daniel Bryan's rise is a legitimate long-term sustainable thing while he's saying Bryan's post-WM awkwardness shows he was just a flash in the pan. He was a perfect alternative choice in response to our collective boredom with Cena, Orton, and Batista....main evented Wrestlemania? You seem determined to hate this guy.

Damn, who else was there?
Also, 2015 at the Metlife? Interesting.

Cena sells merch despite a large part of the audience having pretty strong negative feelings about him. We get what WWE likes. We're talking people. There was definitely a shift in feelings once Bryan won the big one, and it's not entirely on Kane or that feud. Bryan exposed himself.I'd argue that's the most bizarre and wrong correlation possible. They don't measure "success" by "internet user's opinion of a promo". Bryan moved ratings and merch, that made him viable as a top guy.
