Now the police are claiming that protesters are throwing rocks and other items at them, but Vice doesn't seem to understand why they're saying that because they're not seeing anybody doing that.

I say this because in their position of being stupid about everything and tryig to squash protest. The 'you can protest, but you have to constantly be moving' seems like a tactic to tire the crowd and get them to leave asap without outright saying it.

this is how I see it. seems like crowed control and stuff would be easier if people were in a central area.

oh and I'm not unconvinced they got sleepers in the crowds.

Which is likely why they keep claiming the crowd is throwing objects at them. It's night, it's dark, objects would be hard to see on video, maybe there were objects, maybe there weren't, who are we to judge?

Them wanting press to move makes it look like they're about to use it. I don't understand why they are even bother to say that. They've done everything wrong regarding the media already. Clearly they don't give a damn about the cameras on them. They don't give a damn about optics. I hope the media doesn't leave and they continue to show the world what these police are doing.

Don Lemon has made his stance pretty clear and he is usually the anchor that is on the forefront when it comes to many african american issues. The problem is with CNN which spout the whole unbias angle and they always play it so safe so I wouldn't be surprised if he has to,shame they don't always let their anchors go like Vice it's so much more interesting.

Earlier there was a scene where Tim Pool of Vice was on one side of the road, while the cops were on the other side with their rifles. A car drove slowly between them, and the cops kept their rifles trained on the car pulling their line of sight across Tim as they followed the car.

So I'd say the vests aren't ridiculous at all.

That show of force was sad.

Police are reaching for anything to try and gain an advantage in a peaceful demonstration.

As I said before, pathetic.

Things like this shouldn't be happening, in America, in 2014.
 
The guys putting crap in the road are assholes. They are trying to escalate the situation. One of the community activists from the I am Mike Brown stream needs to be on the same street as Tim to calm the situation down.
