In Montreal this was going on for months. We saw a lot of bullshit like this regarding the press having to stay out of locked out zones. Police were confiscating buses and using them to move around large amounts of units.

So Vice is indicating that the police are telling people to disperse, but the people have no where to go.

Shit, Tim lost his credentials and can't get through to the media part. Edit: he got through because he was with the rest of his vice crew.

We need more media to stand their ground, can't keep forcing them to go to areas away from all the coverage.

Holy shit this cop is a total asshole on the VICE stream. Shut the fuck up officer.

Did...did they just say "leave now or you'll be tranquilized" on the IaMB stream?

wtf that cop smh

Just... an ounce of respect. That's step one towards the people you're supposed to be protecting. You act like soldiers in a war zone and look what situation you've now created.

@BKSportsTalk: We just saw at least four men arrested for peacefully protesting in #Ferguson. In the United States of America. It's 2014.
@BenAmey18: "We are witnessing the mass arrest of individuals who were peacefully protesting" [url said:

@Yamiche: Protesters are being arrested and police are telling media to leave and go more than a mile away to command post
.

My concern is if they do arrest him and there's not enough evidence to prosecute him or a grand jury doesn't find the case convincing enough or it goes to a full trial and the jury finds him not guilty. What will happen? I can't imagine it would go over well.
He shot Micheal Brown. Six times. At mid-range. While he was surrendering with his hands up. Two of the shots were close-range. To the back of the head. After Brown was already on the ground.

The autopsy report shows as much. That's enough evidence to prosecute the cop.

Reporter on ground saying cops telling people to go home but some are not allowed to get past cops to get to their car. Where do they go?

Every minority person I know including myself already believe this is going to happen. This is my fear. Once this guy get acquitted it's going to be crazy. My fear is that a situation like this is enough to galvanize the minority population in some of the larger cities.

Cops telling CNN to move due to a gunshot victim. Waiting for the newsroom to tell them what to do, sounds like Don Lemmon's asking if they'd be willing to bail him out should he stay.
