SCE Japan/Asia Press Conference on 9/1

What did they announce last year for this conference?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's where we got news on EDF, Phantasy Star Nova, that Gundam game we've seen absolutely nothing from since, Vita TV, and a few other things. It had some decent announcements, but nothing especially impressive compared to last year's Gamescom or E3.

On the other hand, this time Sony needs to prove that their new console is actually worth buying in it's country of origin, so there's reason to believe this show will be better than the last.

The real question is whether FF XV is going to make an appearance or not. I wonder if OP knows. Hmmm....

Yoshida recently hinted that there will be new PS4 game announcements for the TGS. Their focus is gonna be toward PS4 because it's not selling well in Japan, mostly because there's no japanese games on it.

They need to show something for the Japanese market to get it going. If the conference is half as good as the Gamescom conference it will be great.

Lol

Lol.

The most I can get hyped for is, well, idk.

What can I get hyped for?

Realistically? Persona 5 and Tales of Zestiria, if you're a J-RPG fan. Some information on Deep Down. If Falcom really has anything planned for PS4, this would be a great time to show it. Someone reminded me that NIS is working on something for PS4 too.

There's actually a lot of stuff to talk about that's old, and Sony probably won't let us down as far as new announcements either.

Last year we got slimmer Vita, Vita TV, Natural Doctrine, Deep Down stuff, Guilty Gear Xrd, Lily Bergamo, FF14 stuff, PS4 Japan date, Vita bundles, Phantasy Star Nova, Soul Sacrifice Delta

Oh someone beat me to it lol

I'm guessing this is where they'd do the actual game announcements whereas the actual TGS is reserved for boring statistic talks.

Seems like a good time for some updates on ps4 games we haven't heard from in a while.
(Gundam and Ys PS4 especially. )
