Yep, I was thinking the same thing earlier. I really want to hear their reactions to Summerslam, especially with most of them having gone to the event but we won't get another Powerbombcast for another few weeks or whatever. Although, I guess we'll get some more wrestling content soon with whatever Alex/Dan/Jason filmed so that'll be cool.

I assume there will be a fair bit of chat about their trip on this week's Bombcast.

So, I'm listening to the power Bombcast,and while I don't actually know anything about wrestling, I keep getting the impression that Jeff doesn't actually like wrestling.

The truth is that Wrestling is 95% terrible but Jeff is the only one who admits it. lol

We live in an era where the most boring guy winning the championship is considered great because the WWE has been backing the same horse over for the last 10 years.

I think there are a good amount of people who watch wrestling on a semi consistent basis, that don't enjoy the majority of the product. Its the rare, fleeting amazing moments that keep them (myself included) in the loop. Jeff always seemed like that kind of fan to me.

Yeah it's a weird love/hate relationship. I have that as well. Then I watch something like the G1 one and wish all wrestling was this good.

AFAIK only the endgame. You just won't be allowed to travel to Pandaria. Everything else is there for everyone, pet battles and all.

As for best leveling: every specialization that is damage oriented will have an easy time.
Tanks and healers are viable too but they can be slightly slower. I leveled as my protection warrior every expansion, and while other classes kill enemies faster, my character trades that with survivability since mobs deal noticeably less dmg to him.

I don't know, prot warrior is doing pretty crazy damage at least at lower levels. I'm around level 65 on my warrior and still kill every mob with just one Shield Slam and Revenge. Or only one of those if I get a critical strike. I'm not even using heirlooms or anything.

Considering his silence during the incident with Max, I doubt he'll say anything. Which is the right decision - it's best to stay impartial when serious accusations are being lobbed around. Attention is the worst possible thing for private matters like this.

Mists lets you pick a Pandaren as a race, Monk as a class and is the 85 - 90 leveling content. If you don't want to be a panda or monk, you can wait to buy it until much later.

I know I'm a cynic, but I don't think that there's even a .1% return on "bullying is bad, you shouldn't do it" actually making somebody stop. There's no real benefit to spending a huge amount of time and energy writing blog posts about it when it won't reach the people that need to change.

If you want change, take it to Twitter. Pressure them to revamp their abusive behavior policy (read: actually implement one). Pressure individual web communities to clamp down on it.

Talking on your own website or blog about it is just spitting into the wind.

I think they've mentioned before that the Bombcast is by far the most popular thing they do, and downloaded way more than their videos. They definitely have over 100,000 downloads, I vaguely remember Jeff saying it was 250,000 somewhere at some point? I may be wrong on that, apologies if so.

Plus, how many other popular video game podcasts are there out there, really? Most of the other big sites don't really have a flagship podcast anymore like GB does.

Bombcast is big. I hope they're getting a good deal on those ads (which I listen to even though I could get the ad-free version because they're funny).

250k is a number Jeff has mentioned (but a good while ago). I don't have the reference (probably a Jar Time) though.

If you don't have Mists of Pandaria, you can't:
- Progress past level 85
- Travel to Pandaria (level 85-90 content only)
- Create a Pandaren race character
- Create a Monk class character
