well, didn't brawl site updated those with a generic hidden character picture? of course you could see the reveal if you wanted, but I think they'll do the same this time around
the only confirmation I'll be looking for is Snake, if he ends up as a hidden character or something like that

I've been waiting for them since Melee, and they've all been really good so far. I actually like the Fusion blue shorts + vest better than the default ZSS! I'd love to see Doc with unique pills, Dark Pit with a unique voice, etc.

If he didn't get announced before Japanese release, then he's definitely out of the game. I wouldn't expect him to be in the game but I still hope that there is a chance that he would make it.
Yeah, you are right about brawl site but I'm curious how they would handle that on Smash websites this time.
I ordered mine last week and it's somehow here already.

I was actually going to import a Japanese 3DS before I remembered that I had 7 PS3 games and a barely used PS3 controller but no PS3 I could use them on. So it's probably obvious what I did instead.

I'm generally impressed with how much Nintendo let players get their hands on this game before release. They had more demo events than I remember with Brawl (or if I'm wrong, basically still a lot), and they did a least a couple of official tournaments for the game. But yeah, I feel like many here have gotten to play the game. I've seen footage of the demo played in the US, Japan, and Europe.

Born and raised on it. No joke, my earliest memory in life is of me as a 2-3 year old watching my dad play the original legend of zelda. I owned a handful of the Zelda animated series VHS tapes and wore them out. They no longer play I watched them so much. I would jump off the couch pretending to be link, shooting sword lasers at moblins.

Probably not breaking any new ground, but despite showing more skin, I find the new ZSS alt far better looking than the normal ZSS. It doesn't look like a weird sex-suit.

Yea, I feel exactly the same. This looks "normal." It's just shorts and a vest. A skin tight space rubber suit I find a lot worse than shorts and a vest. To me, the alt costumes aren't too far from what Wii Fit Trainer wears, while the skin tight rubber suit is... not.
I hate the way ZSS looks, to the point of not caring much to play her in Brawl, so I'm finally happy to have alt costumes I like that will make me appreciate the character more.

The regular ZSS suit is so tight that Samus looks like she's carrying high-pressure water balloons, lol. One is afraid they'll pop and explode if touched incorrectly!
Meanwhile, the new "short shorts," aside from calling to mind that great song, also looks a bit more down-to-earth while still being recognizably iconic as Zero Suit's "look" in the GBA titles, which might I add are excellent games and worth referencing.

Every smash bros ever, except this one, My first match was as follows:
Me, my two brothers, and 1 friend (different each time). I picked Link. Smash 64 was hyrule castle, smash melee was Venom (don't know why), and brawl was bridge of eldin. All items on. 3 Stock. No time limit (not unlocked yet!) After that it was 'choose another character until you've played them all'
This time, since i'm getting it early, and it's on 3DS, it'll be just me
I'll be the only one I know with a copy. If i'm lucky and get on at the same time as other gaffers, maybe my first match can be against you? It'll likely be classic mode w/ Link though. Mega man probably second, if he's not unlockable. Otherwise, whatever suits my fancy!
