You ever notice how these leaks always have the characters in the most awkward positions possible?

Like what are the chances that you'd PHOTOGRAPH an in-game match where the Ganondorf and Charizard are both in an awkward roll? Yes it's POSSIBLE but really impractical if you're just leaking the game running rather than having it paused.

Lucina was revealed officially alongside Robin in their own trailer, while Dark Pit was mearly hinted at and never outright confirmed. I think Dark Pit invalidates the entire leak.

But G&W was hinted at but not outright confirmed, it just means that those two are unlockables where everyone else are starters.

I wonder if Kirby's bar is different because the player is setting the CPU icon on his tab at that point (see the hand icon). Maybe he hasn't released the icon and "set" Kirby yet.

That's the only thing that's different though. If the player was still setting Kirby you would think there would be an outline around the whole thing or something instead of the bar just getting slightly thicker.

All of the masked characters should have an option to remove their masks or helmets via taunt, like with Lucina. It'd be a good way to incorporate alts that would ordinarily be too similar to default outfits, like masked Dedede and maskless Metaknight.

If we include the DLC Characters from the rumor, the roster is actually perfect. Outside of Lucina and Dark Pit, we would have no new clone characters at all and everyone from Brawl would return save for Squirtle & Ivysaur of the Pokemon Trainer moveset. I also can't think of who to exclude of the reveals... Shulk is from Xenoblade which Nintendo is trying to promote. Bowser Jr. is just as much a regular in the Mario Series as Rosalina is now. Duck Hunt was the most played game on the NES outside of Super Mario Bros. because of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and makes sense as being the third choice of a Retro Hardware Character after G&W and R.O.B. because of the connection Duck Hunt has to the Zapper Gun. Only Dr. Mario and Dark Pit would be the weak links and let's face it, they are like Decapre in Ultra Street Fighter IV... They ain't taking up enough manpower that could be used for one additional character. I can't find fault with the roster as is.

As for if it is real or fake... I'm on #TeamReal. It's a perfect roster, but also depressingly realistic because it lacks the characters everyone has been clamoring for like Ridley or Dixie Kong.

Just a thought. Doesn't it seem likely that each square would slightly expand when the selector scrolls over it? It's an aesthetic thing I've noticed in a lot of games. Still think the whole thing's fake tho...

If the model's based on the default outfit, as with the ZSS alts, the shorts would probably be as tight as the bodysuit, with a tiny modeled hem. That would probably be the best-case scenario.

I definitely agree. I personally hate boxer shorts, but in the Samus alt thread, people wanted past game precedence for costume ideas, hence the boxer shorts.
