Would work if each character was contained in a vacuum but that's not how it works.

Unless it was already on disc and unlocked via amiibo which I would find incredibly dumb.

To be fair, unlike "here's a picture of a menu" and the Samus outfit thread that literally made me swear out loud upon seeing it, one of the two or three scenarios I recommended for "this is something that might warrant a thread that someone would care about" was "anticipated/major wishlist character turns out to be AT instead of playable."

I mean, there's obviously a lot of wiggle room there.

What was wrong with the Samus outfit thread? It was more about the point the OP was making rather than the actual new information.

Would work if each character was contained in a vacuum but that's not how it works.

It would be interesting if they could hold completely separate models that are technically close as to not screw with hitboxes and such.
Then Nintendo does OOT, SS and HW Amiibo sets for Smash Bros.

Also maybe Zelda U releases and supports Amiibo, you get that Link and if he is close enough it also works for Smash.

I imagine Sakurai will give us a much cleaner CSS on the 3DS. I can't imagine having to use a grid for 50ish characters.

Also, the "leaked" stages, if true, are very disappointing. We need original franchise stages. Where the heck is 3DS' WFT trainer stage etc?

Yeah, she's cool and all, but being realistic, there's likely to be only 3 DK characters, and I prefer having 2 kongs and 1 villain, rather than having 3 kongs.

It's just that K. Rool would be more interesting from a visual and mechanical perspective whilst giving the DK franchise more of a varied representation and bringing back a "forgotten" character.

I don't believe in the leak. I just generally want some info on things like that, since it's the most important thing to me. That and i'm only getting the 3DS version, I don't pwn a Wii U.

So.. Once the Japanese version releases.. I'll be in paradise.
