Gematsu never specified that was all there was and that information they had was subject to changes later in development. People just made their own assumptions.

I have to admit I am not that surprised to see Ghirahim be an AT. That said, there's not many more Zelda characters that could make it in as a newcomer if there is one, since a lot of characters are already out by now... Impa seems more and more likely, but there's always Toon Zelda/Sheik and of course Demise (even though I sincerely doubt we'll get Demise... but who knows).

Yep the debate that said that leak was absolutely everything is what bothered me as well.

I think that Gematsu supporters thought that was "it" because Sakurai lead people to believe that the roster growth would be small by telling people, basically, to control expectations. Chorus Kids, Chrom, and Shulk felt very much like characters that would all be unlockable - leaving us the traditional 3-4 unlockable characters (Melee being the exception, but only due to the clones - the original version had only Mewtwo, Marth, and Mr. Game & Watch).

Not in Brawl.

Edit: I mean, like, no moves that actually inflict a poison DoT on the enemy. There were moves with Ivysaur using spores and such that could've been taken from Poison type moves from Pokemon.

Last year, I had a predicted that ghirahim would replace ganondorf as a zelda villain like how young link got replace with toon link. So now, I am wrong.

I'd rather play as Ghirahim, Skull Kid, Takamaru, Nightmare, Samurai Goroh, Tingle, and Waluigi than Dark Pit and Dr. Mario. It's almost comical.

Good points. There's the possibility of 3DS DLC + Wii U character. But we'll know something's up if there's no Ridley trophy for some reason.
