Saw that the Sly and God of War Collections might have a flash sale this weekend, so hope you guys enjoy them

.
Got the God of War Collection via glitch on PSN (that me and other Gaf members found out about) and the Sly Collection via retail version at GameStop. The former is an okay port of two really amazing games while the latter port is an almost perfect port of two great games and one crappy one (really don't like Sly 3 sadly X().
For those who didn't use the glitch to get God of War or never bought the Sly one yet, can't beat five games for 20 bucks

. The God of War games run well on Vita (only a few frame drops and slowdown in some sections; ex: Sewer in GOW1) and are at sub-native res (with BADLY compressed cut-scenes

). The Sly games run at native res with an almost consistent 30FPS for all the games (with Sly 2/3 having rare slowdown when lots of foes find you). Overall solid collections for your Vita

. Just keep in mind that the GOW Collection takes up 3.0 GB while the Sly Collection takes up 3.3 GB (5+GB if you decide to have Sly 3 as well).
Oh, I will say this though; just skip Sly 3. I mean, the game isn't horrendous or anything, but it is a huge step down from Sly 1 and 2, so if you are expecting the 3rd game to be just as good or even better then the others, you will be disappointed

.
I've decided to check out SAO latter next week and after seeing more of the game online, don't find the translation all that bad

. Granted, it does have errors and the like, but I still understood it well enough

. The gameplay also looks like a lot of fun and the MMO-nature of the quests/missions is very interesting.
I also like how visually nice the game looks; really bright and colorful alongside appearing to run very well on Vita (granted, I am aware of the patch that is supposed to be coming next month, so the game will run even better by that point

). I also hope they polish up the translation for the NA/EU versions with the patch but I don't expect that to happen; will just be a nice surprise

.
I know I said this already, but I have to thank Gaf for once again getting me interested in a series I never expected to really enjoy

. Love the world and characters, so I'm sure the Vita game will be a blast to play through (not to mention how this is supposedly having hundreds of hours of content to play though! Makes that 40 dollar price tag a bit more realistic XD).
