I feel this way for New Pork City. Such a bummer.

The Donkey Kong level in Brawl, that scrolling one? It was gorgeous, loved the aesthetic of the vines growing as you progress higher and higher, but it was a terrible level. Terrible! No fun to play on, had varying scrolling speed so it was hard to hold a fight without dying of screen-scroll, and then to add insult to injury the music on the level was all excellent.

Why the fuck is every metered stage, fire/lava related and dark.

Metroid had tons of corridors, and so many different environments. Space, frozen worlds, lush worlds and yet we have the same theme on every single fuckin one.

Oh and they are basically just floating small platform stages.

Where is phendrana, where are the phaeton mines? How about space pirate ship?
