I'd like to switch over to #TeamReal, if that's still possible. To be honest, the current roster is literally my dream roster, so i'm beside myself with glee.

I enjoy the kills where they go out there and get 'em, but I think the new edgehog thing + Brawl's edgesnap puts too much recovery power in the hands of whoever's coming back. We also still have multiple air dodges for some reason, so if you're able to get to them it basically turns into a 50/50 on if you can bait it out or not.

I feel like the game is negatively impacted by some of the edge changes, but I'll grant you that it might just turn out different, rather than worse. As with anything, we'll have to wait and see.

I do get what your saying about the edgesnap. The way I see it. Its equally beneficial to defender and the player coming back. Knowing how forgiving the edge snaps are, I personally would feel more confident about jumping out to intercept knowing that it shouldn't be too hard for me to get back on stage...especially if I'm likely to be closer to it than my opponent, who is coming back from the edge of the screen.

as for the 50/50. I can definitely see that as an issue. Again, we'll see how that turns out. there will definitely be characters who have the tools to make those odds better than 50/50 when they head out there. But we'll have to wait and see.

So when people predict that Wolf and Lucas will be cut, is it because they believe they are clones? I've seen this sentiment many times, and I have to say I don't really understand it. I never felt like Wolf and Lucas were much clones. I mean, sure they play very similarly to Fox and Ness respectively, but I know that at least when I play with them, I use different play styles because they feel and play very differently to me. It's like saying Luigi is a Mario clone (in brawl). Sure they have some of the same moves, but that hardly makes them clones. It just means they're somewhat similar.

I actually like Lucas better than Ness

I agree. Obviously their styles are based on current characters, but I feel like everyone forgets that nearly all their standard attacks are completely different.

Wolf, in particular's, standard attacks give him a completely different feel. I can barely even call him a semi-clone.

A quick glance through all the pages, it looks like no. People briefly thought a screenshot of Reset Forest's lower-screen level select image that matched up with the level select in the leak was new, but it's been around on the website for a while buried deep in older screenshots.

So far nothing for either side.

The Mii fedora hat might be a wizard hat instead, I'm not sure because of the scan's quality and Kappa's head being right behind the Mii. But I want it to be a fedora.

Most of the pages are just character bio and moveset info we already have from elsewhere.

The only good stuff might be in the ones talking about customization, which is something we don't have a ton of information on yet.

You might as well suggest they have Other M Samus as an Assist Trophy and 'Real Samus' playable, that ain't happenin'. Nintendo clearly considers Other M's versions of characters to be their modern incarnations and the proper designs for Smash Bros.

Why not? It makes sense to use the Other M suit, but the Other M Ridley design doesn't seem to be all that popular amongst fans.

If he's playable you'd have to hope he'd be given cool alts of various forms though.

He's a clone, but Other M doesn't really make a distinction between the original and the clone outside of him being reborn--he doesn't look different because he's a clone, he looks different because he was redesigned, just like every other character and recurring boss in Other M. They won't have both designs in one game.
