NeoZeo never mentioned seeing ESRB footage at all.

Hell I'm pretty sure their story is the first chunk of info they got was from a tester on the game who quit and told them all of this rather than showed them anything (though made a few Brawl hacks of palette recolors that would be in SSB4 which at the time hadn't been seen since this was before E3) and for his most recent posts said he has another source at NoA (so not this supposedly fired guy I guess?) who went on to say this isn't the complete roster.

Just want to say how proud I am of the teamfake gaffers for 'manning up' to their loss. Thank you guys for your good sportsmanship, and know that i'd do the same if it was proven fake.

...I thought the basis of this entire leak was that it was ESRB footage. Where did all these testers are NoA sources come in?

This whole thing makes absolutely no sense.

While I agree that I hate different characters as alts, the Koopa Kids all being alts is the only different character alts that make sense.(Besides the gender ones like Robin & Vilager) It wouldn't be right just being Jr. Which is why I hate that Alph is apparantly an alt according to the original leak (not the one that listed other characters) when they could've made him a clone.

Plus could you imagine all eight Koopa Kids having a slot? :lol

And Isaac can still be in, just like how Gematsu leaks didn't get Rosalina or most of this leak's characters.

Same! I was on Team Real so it may sound not genuine, but I like that people are seeing it isn't that big a deal to be wrong. I was arguing like crazy that Bowser Jr. would never make it into Smash and...well, here we are. :)

NeoZeo has nothing to do with the ESRB footage beyond what he said lining up a ton with what was shown (though other stuff like Chorus Kids/Olimar's Alph alts/etc. aren't in the ESRB footage), he's a completely different person who's a mod Smashboards who a month ago posted this info.

Treat him as a separate 'leak' like Sal's source who happens to have said a ton of things that are lining up with each other.

Even if I was on #TeamFake I can't be mad at this. I got two characters that I wanted: Duck Hunt (Being a retro character I have been clamoring for) and Bowser Jr. Then I got myself Shulk, who I wanted in because I love when 'newer' things can get repped as well.

I actually posted a while ago that I wanted the Koopalings as separate characters.

They are just so damn cool.
 
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 was also revealed just a few months before it came out, right? Seems like a bit of a dumb comparison to a game announced several years before it comes out, and revealed a year and a half before it comes out.

How do you feel Smash 4 did with it's newcomer selection? I made this picture so you try and think of the newcomers as a whole, not just the ones leaked.

Me personally? A few missed opportunities aside, fucking stoked. 15 new fighters is nothing to scoff regardless of clones, and you could even bump that number to 17 if you count the Mii Fighter as 3 different characters.

Vanilla had already come out before then. The game was riddled with gamebreaking glitches, Ultimate still has a couple but yeah.
