PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | August 2014

I understand it's not a game to just go through and beat. I want to beat the game so I can have the best spells equipped and go for the Avalon Pacts. However, just to get to that point, it feels like the game is a slog. I'm on Chapter 2 of Fading Humanity so I think I'm getting towards the end?

Delta is easier to get things all around so you won't have tough time getting best spells. In SS, many magics/spell offering have broken balance thus many of them aren't very good all around but the Delta will fix all these problems. The devs have changed and tested out throughout the patches for the right balance therefore you wont have tough time as a new player or for one who imports the save file. You can pick up where you left off.

also in SS, even if you destroy parts - the spells may not drop at all but in SSD you'll get it all times. Those Avalon Pacts are now just "Pacts" in SSD - this is part of game that you don't even have to do - in Delta you have twice if not triple more the content in this category and all can be done solo.. That's not the main attraction though, its the lore, the magic and setting.

Hmmm. You're speaking my language. Last question: I have SS downloaded on my Vita, not the cart. What would I have to do to transfer the save so I can get SS off and make some space?

Are we expecting to get the Pax sale with this weeks store update?

I've got $34 in my PSN wallet and can't decide if I should get first light or metro 2033 or some stuff from the sale. Is it worth getting the last tinker while it's $15?

I think you just have to keep SS installed until you launch SSD for the first time, and it should ask you to import your save file. This is just going off memory though..

I'd get 2033 first since Metro is the direct sequel to it.

yup, you need to have the SS bubbles on the Vita. After that just launch up the game, press new game and it will ask you to import.

Got SSD and have been playing it for 3 days. I just realize that even though I bought 3 PS3 games recently, I haven't even touched it and just keep playing with my Vita. PBBG and SSD are huge time sink. Still on a fence with Akiba's trip. Does it worth the price?

Luckily I ordered Neptunia Re:birth together with Shinovi Versus, so there are some breather from now until then. Well, not really since there is DR2.

rebirth is coming out tomorrow. does together mean its shipping with versus

All the usual places that I buy are now offering R1 Danganronpa 2 Retail all over the place so I wonder whether I should grab it now or maybe later when the price goes down (or maybe a 2nd hand copy altogether...)

Yeah. Figured I don't have enough time so I'm saving a little shipping cost.
Maybe I should get Monster Monpiece, too. Kinda wanted to wait until it goes on sale, but I'm not sure game like that will ever on sale.

Sigh. You fuckers made me jump in. I'm downloading SSD as we speak.
Welcome to the party

Get it new. You want to support the localizations of these types of games don't you?

It seems I'm the only one that didn't buy SSD.

I am okay with this.

I will say playing the first Sly game after playing the fourth one is jarring.

I'm loving SSD.

Are the plus games gonna be announced this week?

Normally, the Plus games for the next month are announced the week before the next month starts, so I think we will find out something by Wednesday I think :).

I'm thinking the PS+ games will be:
PS4: Volicity X2, The Last Tinker
PS3: Metal Gear Rising, NFS: Most Wanted (both came to EU Plus last year but never NA PS+)
Vita: Volicty X2 (if the PS4 version is cross-buy), Gravity Crash Ultra, Child of Light (Ubi has put PS+ games on the service in the past; I think they put AC3 on EU Plus).

I really don't think my bets will happen, but it will be nice if that does happen :). I would like to think bigger Vita games will be added (like say, one of the Alter games (a new one is coming soon, right?) or even one of the PS Vita Collections (....maybe God of War :l?) but I've loved the stuff they added so far :D.

Does SSD get harder if I use the friendly AI? They actually useful or would I be better off without them?
The AI partners are much more useful this time around, especially when you're just starting up. Even now, I tend to bring at least one AI as back-up to save me if I die.

Does your browser not have spell checker or are you posting on a phone?
...and no offense, but please don't do PS+ predections again.

Got a Q for you guys on PS+ Vita games.

When you download both Dragon's Crown and Fez on PS3/PS4, when you get the Vita cross-buy version, does that get an expiration date too? Like when you look at the download history online and see the expiration dates on the games, are they the same with the console versions? Just wondering.

Don't Starve is coming to the Vita, and from what I heard it's cross-buy with PS4 version. Does it work on the Vita if you grabbed the PS4 one for free as PS+ member?
