I don't know if you already discussed this, but with what Sakurai said about newcomers videos, and looking at the leak, we have at least 3 more newcomer videos left: Shulk, Duck hunt and Bowser Jr.

If the game is out in 16 days, when is he going to show them? Normally he shows a newcomer with a veteran, and these are 3 newcomers which should mean 3 videos.

There is not enough time for even 2 videos at this point... Maybe 1 or 2 are unlockable and won't have a video until after release or maybe they are all unlockable? :/

He could always do a reverse-brawl and end with a single video with a load of newcomers

Those characters will be unlockable, like ROB and Wolf, and other newcomers in Brawl

I still think we are getting a Direct before JPN launch, so one will be shown there. I think another will be shown right before the US launch on 3DS, and maybe the last one will be saved for the Wii U launch. That's going on the idea that there are only three left. No matter the number, some are certainly being saved for after the JPN release.

Remember, Directs are often announced by Nintendo rather than Sakurai. He often just repeats the information the next day.

Obviously keep expectations in check and don't listen to Nintendo of Americo, but just because Sakurai doesn't mention a Direct doesn't mean one isn't coming.

Duck Hunt and Bowser Jr. could very well be hidden unlockables, but I'm fully expecting a trailer for Shulk. He's the rep of an entirely new franchise in the Smash universe.

I hope, there is no or at least a strongly extended time limit on replays. I could see them change it, so that you have to uploads replays for spectator-mode yourself and simply limit the length of those uploads (for example: you can only upload replays from 5 to 10 minute). Instead of limiting the time of the replays in advance to be able to automatically upload them like in Brawl.

I also hope, you can publish replays on Miiverse. If there isn't an option for an private online-tournament-mode, this would be a nice way to manage those outside of the game. (Youtube uploads would even be better ...).

Also, in regards to the Mario alt costumes from a few pages back, I ran into a fairly good mod of one of Luigi's more overlooked outfits.

It might have decent odds to show up in SSB4, considering it doesn't have to be adapted from a Paper Mario costume, is slightly less generic than standard Tanooki or Cat suits, and wouldn't need to use a completely new model.

LOL seriously though, I'm sure Sakurai didn't change anything because of the leak.
He's pretending it never happened for now, and still reveal characters. Maybe he'll throw a joke or two at most. This week is boring because POTD are 90% of the time boring. I honestly hope for the next Smash Bros. they'll stop this daily update shit. Bi-weekly short video updates would be so much better.

Pic of the day. Customize your characters in the Custom section. It sounded better to customize "characters" instead of "fighters," so that's what we went with. There are various ways to customize, but make sure you remember to set up the powers you're bringing with you before playing a round of Smash Run.

There won't be any new Smash news in the Direct as we are still being punished for the leak and Sakurai and Nintendo changed their marketing plans for the game.

Haha, good point. I didn't even think of it that way, but yeah, I guess the Yoshi and Shy Guy colors aren't as exciting for most people. I mean, they're not as amazing as the new DLC itself, but they are pretty cool to me and my wife since we usually play as Yoshi and Shy Guy respectively!

Out of all the leaked newcomers, I think the one which has more chance to be revealed tomorrow is Shulk.
Would be nice to have an "Old vs New" trailer and reveal both Shulk and Duck Hunt, with maybe a couple of veterans.
