I was thinking about Duck Hunt -- if the dog is using the stunned bird as a melee weapon, would that be something the ESRB would have wanted to see, like Snake's realistic weapons? I wonder why Duck Hunt wasn't in the ESRB video.

Imagine how PETA might be outraged if a dog is flailing a bird around.

I was thinking this too, and it leads me to believe the Bird and Dog will attack independently and that it won't work as you described above, otherwise they would definitely have to show it in the ESRB videos. Unless it's in there and we just haven't seen it. Seems in poor taste if that's how they would have it work, though.

That's one of the many young Link and we already have one in the game. Link is meant to represent the character in a broader sense. Sure he takes the appearance of a specific Link but move wise he pretty much covers the whole series.

I mean why not give Young Link a raft or step ladder from LoZ, the power medalions from aLttP, or the rod and hard from the Oracle games? All those are young Links too.

Silly, that's for 'classic link', not to be confused by 'between worlds link', who uses the fire rod, Ice rod, tornado rod, and sand rod (where he turns into painting link on the sand block). Final smash is golden bee, where he summons a golden bee that attacks his foes for the next 30 seconds.

So far all smash bros info has been broadcast internationally at the same time. Even the e3 direct was in japanese for the japanese audience.

This direct, so far, is japan only. Nothing japan-only has had smash bros info.

Not saying it's impossible (the game is out two weeks from tomorrow in japan, and not anywhere else), but I just won't be surprised if there is no info on it tomorrow.

I agree with you that a japan-only smash trailer makes sense, since it's 2 weeks away. Tons of games do that, all the time. It's just that so far ALL smash info has been international.

I don't know how the co op stuff works, never done it before.

I just started playing it for the first time a few weeks ago (then my japanese 3DS came in and monster hunter 4 has been distracting me). I'm... a decent chunk into the game, I think in 'act 2', possibly?

PSA: 2DS systems are on sale for $99.99 at Gamestop from now until the end of September. If you want Smash 3DS but don't have a 3DS system yet, this is probably the best time to get one.

Either that Duck Hunt Render is fake, or that Dog don't really use ducks to attack people. Let says that their moveset could be like UMVC3's Phoenix Wright.
