My thoughts exactly. I am trying to tell myself that I won't miss the screen real-estate. The aesthetics on this thing are really classy, and I am a sucker for customization face plates. (Literally just installed a Decal Girl decal on my 3DS XL yesterday)

I was under the impression (In that, that's how I interpreted the visuals with the commentary I couldn't comprehend) these came with NFC that decreed the menu backing designs that correspond to the plates? I wonder how those themes are being imported otherwise.
