Shulk Confirmed for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

The best news to come out of this is that we get our first shirtless male character in Smash >_>.
Not counting Giga Mac

If Metal Face was playable, I'd like there to be the option to use his Japanese voice. That way I finally can fulfill my dream of playing as Norio Wakamoto in Smash Bros.

-CG trailer didn't show off any of the other Xenoblade elements aside from Shulk and just a bit of Gaur Plains.

That was hype. But now I wish Riki was playable too :(

And I really need to finish Xenoblade one of these days. Curse my completionist way of playing rpgs, I keep getting burnt out after doing a shitton of side quests.
 
I really didnt like Metal Face (in a good way) in the game, so I wonder what purpose he'll serve this time around.

Definitely going to try to learn Shulk.

This soundtrack is going to be soooooo much better than Brawl now, and I thought that was impossible.

I want to play with all the characters so far.
 
Is that stage music for Guar Plain going to be in, or was it just for the trailer? If so that stage will be played on all day everyday.
 
Shulk looks amazing, I'm so happy to have Xenoblade represented!

For one thing now the music from it can be plentifully filled into it. :D

Yea the leak ruined the zomg happy surprise a little but honestly in the end I only really care that he is in it not how I found out he was in it. :)

It plays a battle-ish arrangement of the Gaur Plains theme when Link and Marth show up. I think that is new, so it should be from Smash.
 
so, Shulk actually got me to buy Smash Bros. It's the one Nintendo series I've never been into, but I will give it another shot now.

Mega Man laid the groundwork, Shulk pushed me over the edge.
 
I got a kick out of hearing "It's Shulk time" with the original VA intact. Shulk's Final Smash looks as awesome's as Mega Man's Final Smash. Sakurai confirms that Dunban and Riki are the fan favorite party members to use. I seriously hope that Reyn and the rest of the party members make an appearance as Assist Trophies which looks to be the case.
 
Is the trailer title "Looks like we don't have a choice!" supposed to be both a reference to Xenoblade and the leak?

I'm sorry if jumping out the bush is considered hype for some of you, but it wasn't of rme. The other reveals in other trailers usually started with a big fight with the new character being revealed by jumping in. This time, shulk literally jumped on a running bowser. Is that hype at all?

I've never played the game, but are they the typical party members that players use in the game? are they good?
 
Very nice moveset and skills. There are so many characters with unique skills in this game --I hope the game is well balanced though.
 
Awesome "news". Is that the original voice actor? Not sure if it's just been a while, but doesn't sound like the same guy to me.
