We all do but... with a roster of over 50 characters, I can understand why it doesn't exist anymore.
Nice try

Hope that lesson wasn't a permanent one.
Yep, so all the fighter will share the same batch except for Miis who will get three specific BTT stages because they're special. We all do but... with a roster of over 50 characters, I can understand why it doesn't exist anymore.
He was a junior, so it was an automatic permaban.
Nah there are rare occasions where the mods have a kind heart for juniors...tho this is likely not one of those times.

Mii Fighters each count as one character? I wasn't sure if they would be counted as one akin to Pokemon Trainer.
Pokemon trainer was counted as 3 in Brawl. Nintendo and Sakurai both counted them as 3 in the character total.Mii Fighters each count as one character? I wasn't sure if they would be counted as one akin to Pokemon Trainer.
Well, that happens when fags want gay swordmen as characters
Current known roster + Ice Climbers + Ridley + Isabelle = over 50Nice try

Didn't the official commercial say "Over 40" though, implying less than 50? I suppose they just didn't want to reveal a specific number before the game was released and preferred to keep speculation rampant

Funnily enough I've had some of my most fun 1 on 1 encounters on Pokefloats.

Whats your avatar from? I feel like I recognize it, but I can't quite place it.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too, especially after hearing that Ash has a lot of big news that he can't tell us about. I doubt they'll be available at launch though, it probably has something to do with Smash 6.There will be over 50 character slots for sure.
Ashe from League of Legends
Never been a fan of scrolling stages. But then again, Hyrule Temple used to be my favorite stage ever.
ICs also got pretty screwed over in stages.

If Summit at least had grabbable edges and no slipperly floors (I know it's an ice stage, but it doesn't make it not annoying), I would've liked it a lot more. The music is damn great too, how it changes when the stage goes through each phase.

Some of the worst Smash stages ever, bar none. I'd nominate Spear Pillar, but that one is both awful and the greatest stages ever. But overall, Smash did have some really good stages as well. Luigi's Mansion, Delphino Isle, Halberd, and Lylat Cruise (really hoping it comes back in Smash U (minus the tilting, but I doubt it)) were some of my favorites.
Am I a bad person for legitimately liking both of these stages? They're both great fun to mess around on and completely change friend's playstyles when we end up with 'em on Random.
?
is there dlc/hidden characters that are assumed to fill out the rest of the leaked image of the roster?

The three miis are not pictured.?

Poke Floats was brilliant. We unlocked it during an afternoon of 4 player SSBM shortly after it came out, and it was a total surprise.
Mario Bros. can be fun to screw around on, 75m just fails

Tisk tisk tisk...This is ausuallyfamily friendly topic so keep that junk out of here. Hope that lesson wasn't a permanent one.
After looking over all of the newcomers special moves and getting a sense for how Sakurai tends to design movesets, here are my Duck Hunt predictions:
Standard Special Move - Zapper
Hold B and move the control stick to aim a reticle, and release the button to fire a shot complete with flashing glass pane visual and retro sound effect. The dog doesnt hold a gun or anything like that its assumed that you are the first-person hunter like in the original Duck Hunt (this helps justify the character name since it comprises the dog, duck, and hunter).
Side Special Move - Clay Pigeon Trap
The dog pushes his front paw down onto a spring-loaded device that fires a clay disc at a slightly upward angle. This device will remain on the stage for a short time, and it can either be destroyed by attacking it or used again by approaching it and inputting the side special move command.
Up Special Move - Fly Away
This is the recovery everyone expects Duck Hunt to have the duck flies away and the dog grabs hold of its feet. Mechanically, its similar to Villager and Olimars up specials.
Down Special Move - Scent Trail
The dog sniffs the ground, and hell either look confused, which does nothing, or his ears will perk up and hell wag his tail, which gives him a ~5 second speed boost.
Final Smash - Hunting Season
This is an enhanced version of the standard special thats reminiscent of Snake and Zero Suit Samus Final Smash. Your duck flies away and the dog jumps off-screen, and you have 5-10 seconds to shoot at flying ducks (to recover health) or the opponents (to KO them).
While the roster is pretty good (outside of the probable IC cut) the stage selection is the only disappointing part honestly. no new dk, starfox, or Yoshi stage while getting 4 new mario stages hurts![]()
Anyone have any idea when the adventure mode for Wii U will be revealed?
I assume after Smash 3DS is out so people will double dip...
