Sony Pre-TGS 2014 SCEJA Conference - Wait we're in Japan? [Over]

I ask this cause I am wondering if we are going to get something new for Bloodborne, which as a souls game is much more popular among the western audience compared to the Japanese. Unless I am wrong about that.

Dark Souls does pretty well in Japan. Its performance in Japan is highly underrated, but it's a strong seller.

Bloodborne will be a very important title for PS4 in Japan.

There's no tlg or ff15 in sony conf.

It sold like 375k so I was worried, but I guess they will show something new.

I'm listening to the IGN Nintendo podcast and their guest, Mark McDonald, said that you should be very excited if you like Japanese games as several will be announced soon at a Sony event. (They were talking about Japanese software sales)

Link and time if you may please.

Selling in the regions of 400k is pretty good for a console game, considering it is Japan we're talking about.

Million sellers like what we see on the 3DS from Nintendo, Level 5 and MH are anomalies. The reality is even most 3DS games don't necessarily sell that well.

Like a legit megaton announcement that will blow people away. Announcing release dates doesn't count.

So like a IP that hasn't been confirmed yet? So stuff like when FFXV or KH3 will be released don't count?

What about gameplay trailers of said games?

I just hope this isn't a complete bust. TGS has been very underwhelming for a long time. But with the PS4 just releasing recently and it's great success outside of Japan I'm optimistic this one will be better.

Just please, don't bore me to tears rehashing footage of games like Assassin's Creed Unity and The Evil Within.

You mean XIII: Lightning Trilogy HD Remaster Edition. ;-;

If SE still even exists and is still doing console games by then, I can see them releasing a fabula nova crystallis collection next generation, with the XIII trilogy + type 0 HD + FFXV series. I'm sure there will be XV sequels, SE just needs to get the first fucking game out the door and then they'll reuse assets like crazy.

I feel like shit talking about sequels and shit when the damn first game isn't out. :(

Look at FFXV and KH3 at E3 2013.

That's a megaton.

Well yes I know what a megaton is per say, but I'm just trying to get a clarification on what HE defines a megaton since apparently release dates of said games don't count. 0_0
