Outside of mobile developers, there aren't as many jobs out there for Japanese game developers. You don't have as many positions to fill in the console software development community as in the past. I think this could work to Sony's benefit if they decided to expand in Japan. I am sure there are plenty of former Japanese developers wishing they were back in the console game scene working on a team somewhere.

D5 is a very real possibility since Nippon Ichi said they'd reveal their PS4 game at TGS. And we know that Falcom has been working on a PS4 game as well. P5 is a big question mark. I'd hope that Sony would put that third party production team to use for P5 and Zestiria in particular.
