Persona 5 also launching on PS4, releasing 2015 ["waifu"/"husbando" crap = ban]

I was planning on buy a ps3 when p5 releases and then a ps4 when kh3 releases. Guess I'll just bite the bullet and buy a ps4 when p5 comes out.
 
Man, Catherine's visuals at 1080p and 60fps... So good.

I'll buy both versions, just in case.

Or maybe a special edition to keep and digital to play, both on PS4.

Or maybe every version for every platform.
 
That is freaking awesome and it makes sense, I'm probably just going to wait for the upgraded version though, FES and Golden were so much better than their vanilla counterparts.
 
Watch them go the Pokemon route and put the male MC in one game and the Female one in the other.

It probably would get them a lot of money though.

Supposedly it's on a custom in-house engine so who knows, but yeah there's no guarantee that the Vita can run P5 at all. Hell the way Japan is going it's more likely to go mobil before anything else.

If you can resist the hype, more power to you. As for me, I know I won't be able to stop myself from buying this day one.
 
I wonder what the themes will be and all that. Will we live in a city with a large population where everyone are occupied with their phones and electronics?

Maybe the story will be depressing and about getting oneself away from the phones and do social connections instead.
 
I still need to play through P4. I bought it day one, started it a few times, but never played more than an hour or two then dropped it. I am a horrible person, I know.

Anyways, P5 will again be a day one purchase for me. Maybe this time I'll play it in a timely manner.

We are talking about a long exclusive series on playstation.

Anyway, I hope they focus on P6 as fast as possible. And that's the moment Microsoft had to be on Atlus door to buy their ticket.
 
I found out about this so late, lol.

Gotta get a PS4 for Bloodborne anyway, but P5 being available on PS4 adds so much value and makes me feel really good about the purchase.

Sony are working hard for my money...Souls and Persona are like the 2 biggest non-nintendo games I care about.

I are slave! Want emancipation from my PS3!
 
Great news! I was pretty much expecting P5 to be my final (new) PS3 game like P4 was my final PS2 game. I guess that honor will go to Zestiria now, unless it gets a PS4 version as well or something else gets announced.
 
Amazing way to start the day off, this is awesome. Now I have to start saving up for a PS4, Atlus nailed that trailer and platform reveal.

Man, how long have we been waiting for this game again?
 
If it's not like Persona 3, then yay...I guess.
I still have a PS3, but I'm sure it'll YLOD soon. Had it for six years.
 
This is fucking amazing. This instantly makes the PS4 way more exciting than anything that I think has been announced thus far. This right here is a legit megaton.
 
Just watched the trailer! Looks that it will have a more "serious" approach compared to Persona 4. Loved it!! One of the most expected games this gen now that I know its coming to PS4! =)
 
What a coincidence! I actually finished Persona 4 last night at midnight (midnight channel yo!) so I'm experiencing all the feels right now!
 
The character in the trailer look rather... pretty. Releasing on PS4 as well makes sense.

Had to do a double take at 40s into the trailer though. The camera cuts JUST before some guy walks straight into another guy. Made me wonder if the protagonist(?) was seeing ghosts.

Still no gameplay? What's the usual way Atlus releases that kind of stuff? It's been a year, I thought they'd at least show that with the PS4 announcement.

Look at it again. The guy is running into the other guy because he was looking at his phone and didn't pay attention to his environment.
