Judging by Diddy, DK and Dedede's coat, it wouldn't have been all that impressive. They would likely have looked pretty good overall, though.

I'm only saying it's possible now since we've had multiple bosses hinted for Classic mode. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tabuu as one of them, however disappointing that may be.
Subspace Army in Smash Run really only confirms that they were easy to port over from Brawl.

Heh well I honestly don't remember it well enough to say that. If I replayed it though, I'm sure its flaws would be more apparent.
Man, cutting Ice Climbers and giving them a trophy would be too much even for Sakurai.

Seriously get out with this "too many sword users" crap, 11/51 is not a lot of sword users, it's barely 1/5th of the roster. And this is assuming Dark Pit fights with a sword and not another weapon like the art hints at

...at least we can expect trophies for Ice Climbers, Wolf, Squirtle and Ivysaur. Lucas and Snake might not even be that lucky.

If it really is just a case of importing Brawl assets with a small visual upgrade, I don't mind him being in SSB4. It's another boss, I guess.
Though I wonder how similar Ridley will be as a stage boss compared to his Brawl incarnation. It'd be amusing if it were a direct port apart from the model.

I recently replayed the Ridley bosses in Brawl and it made me laugh. So many people were saying that the Pyrosphere Ridley didn't move or attack and it was evidence he was playable but fighting against Ridley in Brawl, he absolutely stays still and doesn't attack at points for just as long as that shadow footage.

Figured out the first thing I'll do when I get the game: flip through alt costumes. I can see the more interesting ones being something you unlock though, but it seems eight is the standard number. I'm interested to see if they will give Shulk different color Monados. I want a Blunado.
Tabuu was lame, he's just a generic glowy humanoid final boss. Nowhere near as appropriate for Smash as Master Hand.

I know you're joking but one thing that made this series stand out from all the other fighting games was its diverse roster. Ignoring the clones, each character felt unique not only in appearance but also in fighting style. Now it has several similar looking "anime" characters and many sword users. It's starting to feel a bit too samey and generic.
