Just by looking at the wiki, I would say Hazama and Iron Tager.
 
Cross overs are ass though. They never work out in a way that satisfies both sides of players

Leave that junk to capcom

Yup she's a guns n roses tribute character. Like I said everyone thinking she doesn't look or fit with gg are just plain wrong and are just salty the character isn't some manly dude or someone edgey

Throw in P4A, HnK, heck even Battle Fantasia, and a few new characters to drive the story, and suddenly we can have a Arc System Works version of King of Fighters. Just as long as they don't pull an SNK and ONLY make that series.

On topic, May is my favourite character in GG and even this one disappoints me. Then again, the main reason I like May because of charge... so hopefully gameplay prevails again.
 
The character's dress looks a little like a wedding dress of sorts. Anyone know what the symbol on the tip of one her "bunny ears" is?
 
Being able to make a competent versus game ought to be the ultimate test for any fighting game developer. ASW is nearing it's peak in the genre in influence and finance so I'd like to see it in the next five years.

Nah, I'm just disappointed by the fact that she isn't missing an arm.

Edit: What Q said about Hazama is half right. He'd be the same in GG as he is in BB... too damn good. He's been on my shit list since day one with his stupid snake.

I'd say Valkenhayn would be one. Tsubaki and Izayoi could also work. Maybe Hakumen.

Hmm...not bad. Okay, I'm interested. You Could Be Mine being one of my favorite Guns N' Roses tracks also helps.
 
Will definitely buy for PS4. Compared to the PS3 and Arcade release, the PS4 version is going to look absolutely orgasmic at 1080p.

Also I'm going to assume this is going to be a global release of December 4th or at least we will probably get it the same month as Japan does.

I'm not fostering any global hopes given how they even fucked up the digital releases of Accent Core. Still no Plus R patch in a lot of countries on XBLA and if I'm not mistaken the PSN version didn't even get it? I'd be very surprised if it came out in Europe before March. Probably importing the US version.

I'm thinking maybe not same day but I can see it being the same month..... In the US at least

and yeah chipp looks really fun. ive actually been having a hard time deciding who'd be my potential main as a lot of them strike me as at least fun to mess around with

For all the gnashing of teeth earlier, actually seeing a good shot of the character design in full, she looks fine. A lot of hubub about nothing. Not looking forward to her helium voice and throwing V-signs all over the place :P (I'm making assumptions of course :P)

GG +R patch is available on PSN, but the game never came out in europe
i just hope we europeans dont have to wait months for Xrd

To my understanding

Gears are man made weapons using Magic. The source of which is introduced as the Backyard in Overture.

Creatures born in the Backyard are called "Backyard Residents". They are similar to gears in that they are magical creatures, but they aren't man made weapons so they aren't gears. Instead they are born naturally in the Backyard which is what MMP was trying to say

Correct. Actually the beings living in the Backyard are Youkai like Valentine or Izuna. Youkai and Gears are very similar in construction: both are infused with magic and animal DNA, and often bear human traits (or in a Gear's case, human DNA). The only difference between Gears and Youkai is that Youkai are beings born within parts of the Backyard, whereas Gears are artificially created to serve humans and function according to a system of commands.

Are there any videos or screenshots of the PS3 version? I've been curious to see how drastic of a downgrade it is from the PS4 version.
 
I keep forgetting Xrd's out! ... But then again, I'm in "Cynical Mode," so I think I'm gonna wait until an inevitable "Super" edition or a cheap DLC bundle. I'm tired of getting a game only for it to have an Ultimate Edition soon after, and I know Elfert's not in the arcades, but she's proof Xrd's getting DLC on consoles, and I doubt she'll be the last.
