Ness isn't on the starting roster, so we don't know.
I was a bit disappointed we didn't get Dixie since she was in Brawl's code (even if she was to be a duo with Diddy). I feel it's because all the characters in DKCR are already in Smash, and Tropical Freeze is too new. She'll probably be DLC.

That's the impression I got; works like Melee but has a ton of landing lag.
Did moves in earlier games have their own set landing lag? Or was it the same amount of lag for whatever per character?

True, but I also said they could roll moves in too. Depends on how much they did/didn't want to do. After hashing it out with another member who didn't understand I did specifically state that it would be silly and too simple for them to not put in something superficial it's better than a total cut. Either way it's in the spirit of it so I'm glad it occurred for Wolf.

Fuccckkk yes pleeeeassse. The knee just needs to be RELIABLE. It's more about set ups anyway, so I'll be ok with landing lag. But it was so unreliable in Brawl it was absurd, and it's really the heart of Falcon's gameplan. Shows what one little change can do to a character.
And I'm not sure what you mean, but usually each move has it's own bit of lag I believe.

Yeah I'm gonna have fun with Charizard and Captain Falcon in this game.
I'm honestly not getting my hopes up about the knee being Melee-perfect again, hard to see anything in that footage, but Falcon overall looks buffed from Brawl, all of his other aerials seem to have very little lag, and upair espescially is looking super crispy. If he plays like 64 Falcon with dem upairs but also has slightly better Knee than Brawl, I'd be down.
Hoping I'm not just seeing what I wanna see, but he's looking closer to the quick, nimble Captain I love.
Even without the cuts, I don't think I'd be happy with the roster.
There are no new characters I really wanted and Diddy still only has two attacks (and his FS) that are taken from his games.

Anyone know Captain Falcon's alts yet?
I mean, yeah it'd be fun playing as them just for fun and to try something new or to troll people, but I doubt I'll take them seriously, it's like R.O.B., I mean it's fucking hilarious and I grew to love him but I never invested too much into it because.. well, why bother.

Oh no, we don't know if its right. I'm saying I et it will be. That's something that we will unfortunately have to wait until launch for. I hope like Fox's fur for Wolf, they change Ness hair as well and not just clothes. To make it more like Lucas.
Lag is variable between moves, yeah.
Boo that shit, I want Lucas as a separate character.

I mean Daisy isn't my favorite character, but it seems like it would've been real easy to give Peach a proper Daisy alt. Just change the heart and rainbow effects to flowery ones and record a couple new voice clips. Usually I'm an "alt should be the same person" guy but that seems to be out the window with Alph.

I doubt he has any different sounds other than the announcer clips saying 'Alph' instead of 'Olimar'. Olimar doesn't speak or anything, it's just Pikmin sounds and a whistle.
