I've heard of BLAME!, and been meaning to check it out. I love the art and designs I'm seeing in it. Mangas can be such a great inspiration for the type of art I like to do. I learned to draw mainly by copying the original Appleseed manga.

There are more GIF's of Driveclub to demonstrate, such as the most recent one from E3 and that's as amazing, but this one I remember amazing me a little more because of the dirt on the windscreen and the density of the environment
inFAMOUS Second Son (I wish there was some InFAMOUS First Light GIFs, the game is incredible)
The Vanquish GIF has already been posted far back in the thread, the one with the dozens of missiles (I think that scene is in the demo) and that's one GIF that sold a friend on the game.

I've read dozens (to maybe hundreds) of mangas. BLAME! is the most depressing, claustrophobic work of all time. I've read it twice, first time I always felt a little nauseated while reading it. I would have committed suicide a long time ago if I lived in BLAME's universe. It is the quintessential material that could maybe give you some other inspiration with your game.
