First the person with mainly Yoshi, and now one with mainly Pikachu...my 2 most used chars.

You guys are great

Yoshi might just see a lot of usage from me in this one. They basically took Fox's Melee/Brawl up smash and gave it to him along with Falcon's Knee as an up air. That plus his general buffs (jumping out of shield, I still can't believe it) makes me immensely interested in playing him.

The blue Mario is an alt!

I asked this before, but it got lost in the waves of new info. I want to hear everyone's thoughts on what you think Shulk's neutral b custom move options will be? Do you think each variation of it will just change the order in which you shuffle the stances? Or a new move and get rid of the stances? Pretty sure they are already using most if not all of the stances that Xenoblade had, so I really can't imagine what they would do with it.

Man, everyone is going to end up using Shulk, aren't they. :(

I'm not, I like Shulk in the game(I prefer Dunban, but that's besides the point), however he doesn't appeal to the way I play. At least I won't be using him beyond clearing modes with him(classic,etc.) although I am willing to be proven wrong.

Starting to get a better feel for Palutena. Her jab is sick and has ridiculous knockback. Her Lightning Kick is tricky to connect with, and her UAir and DAir remind me of Pit's from Brawl. Also, there was a little kid who kept imitating Palutena: "HANSHABAN! HANSHABAN! HANSHABAN! (Reflect Barrier in JP)" lololol

• DK dash rolls off edge?
Nope! You're safe.
Haven't played much DK, but his Up Special seems to have more power and range. Was able to knock CP opponents away with Down Special, but no KOs.

• Fierce Deity Link is real and his makeup looks SO COOL. Still wears the hat so it's technically just a palette swap, but still omg.
• Gaur Plains is a walk-off on the top level. "You Will Know Our Names" was the original track from Xenoblade.
• Paper Mario stage cycles through plains > ship > castle. A fan literally pops up to blow away the plains and the wind-blown scenery damages players, lol. For the ship to castle transition, the water drains and it shifts to the castle. Overall, a lovely design. Can't comment on the music because I only know PM64's by heart, but I will check later.

In 64 I mained Mario and Ness, added Peach and Marth in Melee. But let's be real, the realest of the real choose random as their main.

I really liked that despite FE never debuting in the west, Marth was top tier and because of that A LOT of people mained him; everyone really liked Roy despite him being and clone nd were sad when he wasn't in Brawl; Ike was such a well-received character and everyone loves him too. So I'm really glad all those FE characters ended up being so liked despite people not knowing about them, and of course this raised the awareness of FE games a lot I think. (Plus, the Robin and Lucina trailer gathered the most of reactions and most people don't mind that Lucina is a clone and it seems Robin will be top tier.)

So it's gonna super cool if the same happens with Shulk and people start wanting to buy New3DS Xenoblade or Wii U Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Argh, I gotta know what the song is! I hope there's more than those three transitions, but at the very least we have a TTYD variant!

So are you saying it appears between character selection and stage selection, or on the character select screen? If so where does it appear?

Masked Man, if you're going to be there until the event closes here's some general things to check out:

Captain Falcon's colors -- is the only new color the gold one? Does the red (Blood Falcon) have any notable differences compared to the previous games?

Is it true that Diddy Kong can only pull one banana? What are his newly animated Up Smash and tilts like, do they possess more range as indicated by the new animations? Does Diddy's Up B still hit walls and cause him to explode off of them and basically die? Can you still determine how far Diddy goes with his Side B by smashing it vs tilting the direction? Also, can you still jump off of people's heads and/or attack them when you've grabbed them with Side B? Anything different about the peanuts?

Is Samus' Up Smash better (as in does it keep opponents in it and can you get people while they are on the ground with it)? How is Samus' new neutral air? How strong is down tilt? Can you try her charge shot and see if anything is noticeably different about it? What about her Up B, is it still strong like the Treehouse people kept talking up about? Is her down air any faster? What about forward air? Also, does she have any new taunts? How far away can she tether to the ledge?

Does DDD's grab still have crazy range or no? How is his Ftilt and Dtilt? Is his back air any different? What about neutral air (the sort of 'belly flop' in the air thing)? Is his neutral B any better or is it the same? How about his Uair and Dair (up air and down air)? Any differences for those? Basically, is anything different about DDD (he's like the least known veteran, I think, in terms of what we know about him) and also, what are DDD's colors? Any new ones?

Some people have noted that Sonic's Side B spindash ends in a kick, is this true? How does the kick work, does it pop people up and away or...? Is Sonic's new Dsmash strong? Or is it more like a get off me Dsmash like Sheik's?

Speaking of Sheik, can you try to shoot her needles in the air close to the ground and see if there's any landing lag for them? In the E3 build she had zero landing lag, practically like Melee where she can shoot needles in the air and land with no lag -- I want to know if they kept this. How about her grenade? Does it still pull in as strongly as it did in the E3 build? OH! How strong is forward air? Is it more like Brawl where it's a weak slap? Also, what are Sheik's colors? Same as Zelda's?

I think that's all I have right now off the top of my head.

Can you describe this more? I'm just curious how it all looks, since FD Link has armor on. How does it implement that onto the outfit, does it look awkward?

Thanks! The N's Castle Medley has me hyped as hell. Sad about not getting a single alt I wanted, though :/. Maybe we'll get Hawaiin Doctor Mario. Maybe.

The only difference between Adult link and Fierce Deity Link, character-model-wise, is the armor.


Otherwise he's link in a white tunic with facepaint and blanked out eyes.

And I saw people saying Link's Skyward Sword swap is not present in the game. Is this true?

Agreed. From what I've seen, I'll attempt to main (unless I plain suck at any of them :p) Ness, Greninja and Robin for sure.
