2/3 of Impa, Ridley, and Dixie doesn't break the Kirby row

If Impa or Dixie are a clone(s), then they can move a row down, then add Isaac to standalones, +1 more standalone (thinking chorus men) would put clones and 3rd party at bottom, and it works out

If you add either Impa or Dixie, you break the Metroid row. It has to be both so as not to break the Metroid row.

So what's the future for the Mario series in Smash?

I think maybe Kamek could make for a good character. Not only is it indirectly adding another Yoshi rep, but Kamek has been getting a lot of exposure these days, as Nintendo seems to be phasing out Magikoopa as a generic enemy and focusing more on Kamek as a unique character.

We'd have Bowser, Jr and Kamek. Basically the entire Koopa family, Grandpa (more or less), Father and Son.

He'd also be another magic user and we don't have a lot of them in Smash.

After Rosalina and Koopalings, here is what I see as tge most likely Mario reps for future Smashes:

1: Toad or Toad varient like Captain Toad.
2: Kamek, but not really a Mario rep. Will always accociate Kamek with Yoshi.
3: Paper Mario
4: A Mario varient like Tanooki or Cat Mario. Would have a pretty unique moveset imo but this isn't likely.
5; A 8-Bit Mario sprite. The Mario sprite is the ultimate symbol of Nintendo and imo would be a neat addition someday.

About the leaked roster being final I'll repost what I already said, because it still fits:

"SmashGAF, the only place where more than 40 means less than 50!"

I kid, but seriously don't be so quick to jump to conclusions.

I've heard dozen of times how there were no other newcomers aside from those of the Gematsu leak and how the Gematsu leak and the RosalinaX rumor lined up so perfectly. Some of you (one in particular ) were adamant about the E3 e-mail implying no other newcomers other than those listed.

After Robin was revealed some were so fixated with the leak to end up thinking all kind of weid happenings to justify Robin and Lucina as replacements for Chrom and Shulk, with still no other unleaked newcomers to come.

Now we have a new and more accurate leak and you're once again all jumping on the "it's confirmed, that's it, no more characters" bandwagon.

No matter what, it's still a leak. That could be final, but it could also not be. And don't tell me: "b-but everything points to that roster being final!"; I'd agree with you if I didn't hear these same words uttered for the Gematsu and RosalinaX leaks as well.

...and I'll add that, as proven by the recently posted pic, there are still quite a few reasons to think the roster isn't complete: weird placing of some characters, all-star lock, weird stage selection with black asymmetrical space, at least two different sources saying they know it's not final (one -or both- being a SmashBoards mod IIRC), the 5 more rumour (Dixie, Ridley, Impa, Chorus Kids and Mach Rider), the weird way the rows are arranged (especially Mii Fighters replacing the random slot for no apparent reason, considering all the remaining space).

I won't say it's definitely unfinished (even though I think so), nor that's definitely complete. I think it's still quite up in the air.

What sucks is that I can hardly fit my bare minimum into this 56-count roster (potentially)!

I want to add Marshal, Dixie Kong, and Ridley, but I also want to add Lucas, Wolf, and Ice Climber(s)! I suppose if I had to choose it would be Wolf, but by the end of the day, I think that everyone else has a bit more of value.

Five would actually make sense considering they'd have to leave space for a random slot.

I'm still pretttyyyy skeptical but I guess another surprise would be just dandy.

Pikachu doesn't jump in Brawl at all. No character in Brawl jumps--they're all just shifted.

Pikachu doesn't even shift in Brawl--he starts out listed after Fox on the first row, and remains there--no character is inserted before him.

Wario, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong aren't inside the Mario family though. Again, Yoshi has his own icon with trophies, stages, and music under that icon. He's considered his own franchise. It makes little sense for him to be stuck right in the middle of all the Mushrooms.

He has his own icon, assuming clone corner eventually gets scattered to be next to their respective franchises yoshi would be dividing rosalina and bowser jr from the rest of the mario cast

For whatever reason, despite representing his own series's, he is placed chronologically within the Mario roster. His placement wouldn't change, as all the groups of series sort their characters by year of introduction.
