Wow, OT couldn't even make it to launch. Pouring the whiskey now. See you all in a few minutes. We'll see if I'm drinking to celebrate finally playing or to mourn the servers.

Oh man, BNet isn't loading for me anymore. I think it's time for me to check out. Destiny is arriving for me tomorrow and I won't really be able to join in any action until Wednesday. Looking forward to reading through the thread when I wake up in a few hours to see if the servers held :)
 
Hmmmm so they just took out the line about the wizard from the moon. Doesn't seem like it was replaced or anything it's just not there now. So far like others have said the story doesn't really have a whole lot of setup or anything. You're just dropped into the world and everyone acts like the 'darkness' 'wizards' and 'light' are totally normal terms that don't need explaining at all. From the alpha (missed the beta) I had hoped that all that was missing was context but there hasn't really been anything so far. Anyway I am havin a lot of fun but so far the story is still very thin and sounds pretty silly.


Side note: All the music is awesome.
 
Was playing Destiny earlier on Xbox One while the football game was snapped to the side...and a Destiny ad came on.
