It's not like they're the rarest things in the world. Now Rare Engrams, I would consider saving. Just have some fun and redeem your stuff, instant gratification and all that. Maybe save that stuff for 2nd character and the like.
 
I don't know why everyone was complaining earlier. The game is awesome. Grouped up with a Gaffer and had some fun. I suck but it's still fun. I need a headset.
 
Anyone else mostly doing Destiny Solo? I did this with Borderlands too, to be honest it's because I'm paranoid about loot and experience. >.>

Also it seems like my Titan will be more badass if forged in his own battles instead of the wake of others.
 
So Amazon screwed over my girlfriend on her pre-order. She pre-ordered PS4 Destiny on December 2, 2013 and selected day one delivery and saw it still hasn't shipped yet with an estimated arrival date of September 15, 2014 - September 19, 2014 which is obviously TOTALLY wrong. My PS4 Destiny has shipped around 9:30pm ET and I pre-ordered way later than she did (like, a week before the beta). We fired up Amazon chat to see what was going on with her order. Someone came on and said there was a delay with her order and that she wouldn't get her game now until September 10. The chat guy originally said the pre-orders were based on "first come, first serve," but had no answers when she told him that I pre-ordered my game SIX MONTHS after she did, yet I'm getting my game on time and she isn't. She cancelled the pre-order. We cancelled all our existing pre-orders and won't ever pre-order another game on Amazon ever again. Back to brick and mortar stores on day one for us.

I'm playing solo but it's mainly because I don't game online so much and I'm just embarrassed.

All loot is unique to each fireteam member and everyone in your fireteam gets experience from enemies killed by you or other teammates. No worries

I am never preordering a digital download from gamestop again. Still haven't received my code. Last time I do digital with them again.
 
Hmm...none of the PS3 Digital Guardian Edition stuff is in my download list. Guess I'm just going to play the regular game for the time being.

I'm very surprised PSN is up and running as well as it is, but there's still stuff they have to fix. (Unless I'm missing something...?)
 
My brother has said Tesco are having problems sending some Destiny games. His has now been delayed despite having ordered it in july.

Lol same here. I'm level 5 after two hours and decided to take a break. Gonna catch some sleep and continue tomorrow though
 
Finally unlocked crucible and played one match of control. Got a three kill streak out the gate and got the trophy for getting the first strike. Felt good man. Gonna go to bed, but play this all day tomorrow. So glad I don't have classes on Tuesdays.
 
I will have look a through the thread but I will just ask here too. Has anyone had any sound issues on the xbox one version? Like a tin/hum through speakers throughout the game? It seems to be only present when I have NOT got my headset connected to my pad. I can hear the hum, connect my headset it goes away, unplug it and it's back.
Tried different pad, hard reset, lots of options except reinstall, anyone else had this problem?
Just standard 2.1 tv speakers nothing fancy, all other games are fine and dashboard it's only destiny.

Seems leveling up is a bit slower now than it was in beta, or maybe it's just my imagination.

Also, I think I found the first downgrade in XB1 version - can't see your own reflection while standing in pools/puddles of water. I'm 99% sure it was there in beta. Not a big deal either way.
