Nope, you're right. Each mission was a guaranteed level in Alpha and Beta, but by the fourth one, you can still be level 3, even with several stops to grind.
 
Goddamn is the music fantastic during the end of The Last Array. It's not news to anyone who played the beta, but it's still worth celebrating. Marty did absolutely incredible work with Deatiny.

That's good to hear honestly. I was worried it'd take no time at all to get near max level.

One thing I'm happy with, I was able to redeem the GameStop code that a Gaffer gave out on the withdrawal thread. So those only became available today on the 9th I guess.
 
Missions are a bit generic so far (I'm level 8 on the
Moon
).
There was one holy shit moment though, when you have to
grab the sword and start swinging
.
It seems that beta was a fair representation of the final game.
 
About the voice audio output

id like if no micro/headphone, to hear through TV, and if i put my micro, to hear through it

but in voice option, there is only blended , tv or headphone

so i have to switch everytime i put it ?

In work waiting for the day to end, if nothing else I can conclusively say Destiny has that "just-one-more-level-then-I'll-stop" quality!

Anyone up for obliterating some Fallen together later feel free to add PSN:Echelon16 !
 
I just bought Destiny and there is a voucher for a free month of PS+ and since it is also my birthday I decide to give it away to someone. So, the best birthday wish to me will get it.

So, got the second moon mission done. The story continues to suck. Just a heads up.

If I seem bitter, it's because I kind of am. I managed to fool myself into thinking that there had to be something else to this, but no, it's really just that awful. Halo might not have had the deepest, most revolutionary storytelling, but it was orders of magnitude better than this.

And before I hear anything about how "it's a social game, you can't expect it to be story-heavy," I'm not. It's literally worse than most MMOs I've played.
 
Fuck me my net went down last night -_- Not really sure wtf is with the free trail shit on the store ;( motherfuckers I've never had it from what I remeber I put my card in and it gave me no option got a month though

Ahhh... the more I read impressions, I'm thinking about holding out for a while. Would an impressions thread be a good idea?
