Beating someone down with the hilt of a sword sounds pretty cool
Custom moves being unlockable might be the reason they're not used in tournaments. You'd need every system to have all custom moves unlocked, or at least all of the custom moves that tournament players plan on using. It's not like unlocking a character, which has guaranteed ways to unlock, they seem to be random drops from playing single player content.
We know we can BUY trophies, but do we have any word on being able to BUY custom moves?

Take a look at Ganondorf's moveset in Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
Now take a look at his moveset in Melee, Brawl, and see that the leaked vids from Smash 4 have him following the same pattern.
Observe the awesomeness that is canon Ganon. Now compare that to the absolute worst character in Brawl.
Sakurai hates him.

I hope one of Ganondorf's custom moves makes his Warlock Punch a one hit kill. If he isn't changing he deserves that much.
Just look at what Koei does to HW Ganondorf. It even implements the Warlock Punch in a awesome way.

You forgot standard Dark Choke.
Each one of his custom moves will only make him slower and weaker. One set will remove all damage from his specials and have their only effect be minor knockback.
It's probably why Sakurai likes Ganondorf - I can imagine someone so intimately familiar with the game enjoying himself with an ineffectual joke character.
Smash Run isn't confirmed to be an online mode -- it's looking like local multiplayer only.

The default move is called Flame Choke.

I remember when I unlocked Ganondorf in Melee, the initial surprise and the disappointment when I discovered he was a clone. I tought: "Well, next time!". Yeah.

There's a guy over on NFL-GAF who made a year long avatar bet and has served about seven months of his sentence. Avatar bets longer than a year are just silly since the bet will invariably be rescinded at some point.
I hope they're right, but sometimes people are misinformed, either the people writing the articles or their sources.
Magnus from KI:U had similar movement patterns to gray fox, albeit his attacks were different.

Oh right, now I see it.
Been fiddling around with my JP 3DS today, got the internet and mii stuff set up on it (0748-4081-4360 if anyone wants to add me, PM me yours so I don't miss it, I'll never be playing anything but 3-stock no items online though so if that's not your thing be warned).
Been trying to perform a system update so I could get on the eshop and see if I could use my debit card but it's not working, I could see AC in there so I assumed it was just telling me the adapter should be plugged in whilst downloading like on my normal 3DS, but that doesn't work either.
Do Japanese 3DS' just not let you install updates on low battery then, even if there's a charger plugged in or am I missing something here?

Was there ever any follow up to this? Shop? Printed box put in fake sleeve? I know that sleeve is pretty common in japan (i bought MH4 that came in that sleeve AND it was factory sealed inside).
So now that Smash got 37/40... is that just to make Wii U's 40/40 look better?
Any scans of the 100pg book floating around out there?

Of fake boxes? Why would anyone be stocking w/ real ones, since it's not out til sat? That also means they're potentially out in the wild if they're real.
It's a joke using a paradox. If he doesn't want to take the avatar he loses, so he'd have to take the avatar anyway; if he takes the avatar he wins, but he has already taken the avatar.
Yeah I figured as much, I'm pretty sure my EU 3DS lets me update on low battery because it's never forced me to put in the charger, but that may just be because it's never been that low.
