been really impressed so far, no disconnects or people dropping.

uh, sure? Maybe I don't get what you mean.

I mean travel wherever I want in the entire area with having to go to orbit then selecting an area. Basically are all area accessible by foot from starting from one of the areas selectable by orbit.

I was worried about this. Beta gave the sense that there was something really great down there to return to when powerful... turns out:

At best, it's where the DLC will take place... :/

He was there 2 minutes ago when he one shotted me.

Considering picking it up after work. (Regretting that I canceled my amazon.ca pre-order at a much lower price now)

Just want to know a few things.

1) Is co-op made so that anyone can help anyone? If my guardian is lvl 12 and my friend lvl 4, I assume he wouldn't be able to join me on my missions or whatever they're called, but I could help him right? Would I be cheesing everything or I'd be down-scaled to his level?

2) Am I missing out on anything since I didn't pre-order?

3) Any point of getting the expansions right away since they're not out before December?

4) Why are games $70 in Canada? :(
1. Yeah, it's apparently done well so far as I can tell. You wouldn't be cheesing everything and could actually get decent drops for yourself.

2. No, the vanguard armory items, it's pretty much junk. basically irrelevant by level 8 or so.

3. Don't think so. In fact I plan to wait for some sort of sale or discount for any extra purchases.

4. something to do with canadian dollars not being real money
How do you access the crucible? I remember It having to be unlocked in the beta but not how.
level 5

Yes. Select "patrol" otherwise the game will think you're intending to do a story mission and guide you that way. You might have to complete the first two story missions or so to unlock this, not sure.

Question....

I'm early on and is there any reason for me NOT to just dismantle all my obsolete equipment/weapons?

I can't sell them can I? At least I haven't seen any way to do so.

Seems like the right call to just dismantle them for glimmer

1) I am unsure about a lower level joining a higher level, but a higher level can definitely play lower level missions. I think all the missions have set levels of difficulty. You'll notice that each mission states the normal and hard level, so you go and play a level 5 mission as a level 10 and everything is scaled for a level 5. I think.

2) No, none of the preorder stuff is all that great (surprise, surprise).

3) The first expansion hits December so no, I don't think there's any real reason to get it now.

4) It's because our dollar sucks (?) and Sony wants to make money so they charge more. It's stupid.

Another thing that really kills the feeling of exploration for me: the game bringing up a countdown after each mission and taking me back to orbit. Let me take in the environment and aftermath a little more. :-(

Ah ok great thank you, really want to freely explore and very happy I can.

Yeah, it's weird that they give the party leader control over the timing of everything, except for that.

Are you guys able to get the Vanguard Armory stuff? My PS4 says it's installed, but I don't see any indication in game that I have access to it.

Go off to the right hand wing of the tower. You want the first robot guy behind the counter that hangs around to the right of the NPC that sells ships. If you don't see the vanguard armory stuff, then close the game, renew your licenses in the PS4 settings and then restart the game and try again. It should pop up. That's what worked for me anyway.

Vendor Restock 1:02

Is that 1 hour 2 minutes or 1 minute 02 seconds?

They have an uncommon HC I want! But wont be home for another 45 minutes

That's the perfect time to boogie though

Why are there no reviews of Destiny?

Is the embargo still in effect? Even if they shipped out review copies late, I'd expect someone to rush out a review for clicks . . . after all, there was a beta that many played.

You can throw them in storage, then create a new character and take them out for that character to use. There's no reason to keep the really crappy stuff, though, or the stuff that's exclusive to one class (unless you want multiple characters of the same class for some reason).

Thanks! I checked with him but he didn't have it. I'll have to renew licenses I guess.

IT'S HERE
enjoy :>

for all intents and purposes, dismantling is selling minus the need for an npc.

So, what's the word on encrypted engrams? Do they roll at the level you are when you pick it up, or when you decrypt them?
good question no idea.

Despite some reservations and concerns, I am now a proud owner of Destiny.

I have no real life friends that own a PS4 yet though, so if anyone wants to add me to play later, my PSN is Vidpixel.

Perfect. Thank you much!!

Reviewers probably aren't ready, they haven't gone far enough. I think they only had a day headstart.

Reviewers only got the game about a day before most of us did. They're basically having to play the game with us. There's no reviews because no one has had a chance to play far enough into the game to form a reasoned opinion yet.
