Too expensive
take up too much space
I use a laptop so I have no need for one
I can't stand Windows
PC gaming is a pain in the ass
a bit off topic, but I just purchased Max payne 3, what kind of performance to you guys think I can get at 1080p maxed out on a 760gtx.

What about the 4K PS5 re-release?
Oh another troll who didn't bother reading the OP.
But there is know way of ever knowing if this will happen until it actually gets announced. Whereas we both know depending on your hardware configuration there will always be a configuration that will work better with star citizen right off the get go, its kind of how PC gaming works when it come to these kinds of high caliber PC exclusives
Turn off the MSAA (it is a god awful implementation anyway) and you should be cruising at quite riduclous frames.
PC gaming is a pain in the ass. At a minimum it's mostly digital, furthermore requires instillation, and many games require you to connect to their servers to work.
Articulated enough?
I've been waiting for some time to actually finally be able to play this game in all its grace.
I can assure you there will be a better version of The Order 1886 eventually. I can bet you one billion dollars for that..
While i might not have a xbox one or ps4 from what i know most of this is also the case for those two consoles.

35GB's of goodness, i should know (i have the physical 4 dvd's version.)
I hope you didn't pay more than 5$ since it's been that price or maybe lower on sales for at least a year.a bit off topic, but I just purchased Max payne 3, what kind of performance to you guys think I can get at 1080p maxed out on a 760gtx.
Not a troll and I did read the OP
Anything more than free is too expensive. I already have a $2000 laptop
I simply don't have room for one even if I wanted one. My guitar and drawing table take up my only free space
I need my laptop for work. Ergo a PC is redundant
I simply prefer MacOS and there aren't many games for it

yep I'm installing it as we speak, I hear the process it quite long
Unfortunately, this is increasingly the case, but not entirely. For example, there's nothing like BattleNet on a console.
Sure, this and nvidia cpu optimizations are the reasons to update those drivers every two years.
But not ones You posted earlier, that affect Titans, 780 and multi-processors GPUs.

Jokes on you for buying a 2k laptop. Seriously, what was in that 2k laptop that jusfied that rather than an 800 USD laptop and a 1200 USD PC?Not a troll and I did read the OP

I'm the one who is owned. I thought that was pretty easy to understand.
1. You have 0 control on consoles over these settings so why is having the option a negative, even when you don't have to utilize it?
2. You're just wrong, this isn't a negative. A $600 PC will last the life of a console and you'll easily save money in the end.
3. reading is hard

I can dig if you want, but to name a few off the top of my head:
Watch Dogs
Battlefield 3/4
APB
Brink
CoD MW2, Black Ops, Blops 2
Rage
There's been a number of driver releases that end up making the system unstable and crash, with a hotfix required shortly after as well.
Then we can also talk about the AMD frame pacing issue.

Again, your anecdote is not an accurate representation.

1) It's not. I just said it was more time consuming, and thus could be construed as a negative for a segment of gamers.
2) Again, I didn't make a value judgement one way or the other, just stated that for some consumers a PC represents a larger hassle than a game console.
3) Apparently it is, since you construe any argument that something is more time consuming as immediately being a negative, a claim I never asserted. All I have said is that PC gaming is more complex for the end user than console gaming, which is demonstrably true.
Because I don't want to fall into that crowd of PC fundamentalists who proclaim that the PC is the 2nd coming, it's quite creepy what PC gaming does to you, I think spending that much money has made the PC crowd feel inferior when consoles get all the exclusives on the platform while they have to riddle over a DRM infested maze of hardware problems with shoddy performance. No thanks.
I think you guys are arguing two valid points. Fact is, there is a certain convenience and accessibility in consoles. Whereas PCs are much more complex. Now, consoles are almost completely locked down where PCs are almost completely open. Simplicity vs. capability. It ultimately comes down to what sort of experience one is looking for.
dose the game use any other kinds of AA or is it best I keep it off, or should I turn AA on via the control panel?
Too expensive
PC gaming is a pain in the ass
That's the sum of what I was saying, yes.
Apparently this makes me a troll? I'm not sure how the logic on that one works.
Jokes on you for buying a 2k laptop. Seriously, what was in that 2k laptop that jusfied that rather than an 800 USD laptop and a 1200 USD PC?
Add 'I don't find any of their exclusives interesting'
And 'I abhor buying digital content' and that about covers it.
Because for some people, using a desktop PC isn't a practical thing, and they want to get more use out of their laptop.
That's why you can't wear your heart on your sleeve. Especially about something as silly as videogames. Just because one disagrees with you, doesn't mean they are insulting you.
3) You can get games in boxes too. The only games that are exclusively digital are the ones that wouldn't be sold in a box for consoles anyway.

He brought valid arguments, and you dismissed them all and called him a troll for it. How the hell is this not an insult.
