Yep, he looks really small. He also seems to have the movie build too. Longer neck, hanging arms, etc.

Latest twitter update news: Cracking the next egg may not lead to another characters silhouette, but a continuation of the excerpt that we got yesterday night. So a continuation of Tai's day. Also, sukamon won't be back to block the egg.
I say retcon the second half of 02 so that we still have the new cast but not as the focus.

According to teh internetz, Agumon from Adventure is about 3ft tall.
Therefore, we can assume Tai is almost 9ft tall.
With all this "evolve" talk, I'm guessing Digimon Adventure Evolved or something like that.Did the announce the name for the show yet? I wonder if they will go with Adventure 3, or go along 02 and name is Adventure 05.
It wasn't a complete waste. We now know Tai is 8 ft tall and wakes up every morning.
Man, some of the later episodes have amazing animations for the attacks when they decided to not use the stock scenes for them.If I were to have a complaint it would go back to the animation that has displayed oddly few highs throughout (not including the stock evolution animations which are great thus far). I mean, as a longer series as with the rest, I know the budget is dialed back a (lot) bit. But I still would like to see some more well-animated moves in this season compared to the last two. I'm only on the 6th episode, so still plenty to see.
Tamers animation/art quality can rise so high in some episodes, but also nosedive to hell in some. Some episodes are really jarring in quality, but fortunately they are only a handful.
which one's are bad?
Episodes like 15, 29 and 37 are some of the worst in the series imo. Same artist group for all 3 episodes. The quality difference between 29 and 30 is night and day.
They better have Ken (and none of that Kenyako nonsense!)
I mainly just hope that epilogue will just end up being a dream or just not even mentioned.
I could easily see the epilogue getting the "DMC2" treatment. After all, it takes place so far enough in the future, that it barely matters in the grand scheme of things. To me, the main thing that would need to be addressed is if the whole Oprah-esque "YOU GET A DIGIMON! AND YOU GET A DIGIMON!" has been rescinded. If everybody has a Digimon, it makes the "Chosen" less special.
3 characters left to be revealed. Guilmon better be one of them.
I mean, 02 was fun, but the whole World Tour arc really felt like they jumped the shark :/ If the odd person like Michael showed up, then that's fine, but everyone around the world? It did make for a lot of questions, like why Miyako out of all the kids that watched the Infermon/Diablomon fight became one of the true chosen? Well I mean, one that actually mattered?
I know it's probably going to be bad... but I want it.Box art for the Digimon game.

It's a shame that they stuck the newbies in an awkward position for a new installment.Yeah. I mean they tried to take the angle of "did you see a Digimon" plot point too far for its own good.
I mean, even Daisuke, Miyako and Iori were all relative nobodies that just happened to see Digimon in action...along with several hundred, possibly thousands of others during Vamdemon's attack, along. There was nothing else that really painted them as being any more special, at least compared to the likes of Taichi's crew or even Ryo/Ken.
But eh, that's just one of many things about 02 that I wished they did a better job actually explaining.
On Tamers, why would your geeky friends ostracize you for owning a real Digimon? I'd like to think that'd be pretty freaking awesome if I saw it myself.
Mixture of jealousy and fear.
It's a shame that they stuck the newbies in an awkward position for a new installment.
Miyako and Iori need Hikari and Takeru, but not the other way around (unless the lack of crest thing is still a problem). And Ken's lack of crest freshness is the only reason Daisuke's still relevant. (Well that and Imperialdramon is a BAMF)
Just seems to make them more useless and poorly integrated in hindsight.
The one thing that could make things interesting for this new series, is if instead of so much of retreading old ground, it does more to help Taichi and his crew remember who they are and how to re-define themselves in this new era where they're a bit more grown up. Most of Adventure was spent with these crazy kids trying to "find themselves" when they were around 11 years old. You have to imagine that most of them would likely have to do that all over again, by the time they're in High School...
Pffft, teenagers have it all figured out. They don't need any development. =PThe one thing that could make things interesting for this new series, is if instead of so much of retreading old ground, it does more to help Taichi and his crew remember who they are and how to re-define themselves in this new era where they're a bit more grown up. Ken should be involved in this series for sure, but as a partner to Ryo, not Daisuke.

Bah, I say!
But if nothing else, I'd say the rising boom of the likes of Persona and other popular High School manga/anime/games would only give rise to the notion that there's plenty of untapped potential for them to utilize for an anime season.
I mean, otherwise...I can't imagine there would be much of an interesting story, if all the characters are indeed perfect and there's nothing more for them to develop on.

they added another egg to click
ughhhh
Lot of people misinterpret the Agumon of that film being a separate individual.

A number of Japanese sources back up the notion that it was not the same Agumon that Taichi would later call his partner. And I think even the Adventure dub got this part correct when it came to the episode that gave a quick run-back detailing the truth about the "Incident at Hikarigaoka (Highton View Terrace)".
Truly, this time, it will be worth the clicks. I must know how Tai studies for his exams.

But, Koromon always said that its as if he knew Taichi for a long time. It could go either way.
