Why does a direct grenade and shotgun blasts do shit damage this match. This is the stuff that pisses me off to no end. From match to match the hit detection changes so much.

First Legendary and it's for a Titan. (ಠ_ಠ)
No preview my ass.

And yes I'm salty

Man I am really trying to enjoy the story but I just can't take it serious because it lacks so much. I just drudge through it and eventually say screw it and do multiplayer, which I find to be pretty good.

The grimoire cards actually help out, but an in game grimoire would be nice. Especially what with doing all these survey missions in patrols.

Speaking of which, is there any reason to revisit low level patrols?

I feel like this game is a bit of a grower. It takes time to really sink your teeth into it, and once you get past whatever expectations you had originally, it's fun as hell. Loving it.

My guns go PEW PEW
Their guns go RWAAAAR.

Let me die 82 times in a row because it keeps spawning me in front of the guy with the vehicle.
Utter bullshit in every way. I cannot enjoy this type of garbage.

Next match my presence will probably kill everyone on the other team.
I WANT THE GAME TO BE CONSISTENT!

I did low level patrols on old russia while I was level 16 or so (To get the bounty, and at the same time level up my bladedancer), and found a rare item drop, and a bunch of uncommons from killing some low level grunts.

Also, there was this one mission where I was asked to scan a tunnel or something, and to my surprise 3 level 18 Harrowed (?) Knights came at me.

So yes, for the most part, you'll be facing some underpowered enemies, but low level patrols can still surprise.

I can't even play the game enough to comment. I've got Comcast Business Class, and I keep getting the centipede disconnect issue. They've got a big thread on the bungie forums about the university issues, but I didn't see anything regarding mine, other than to open up all the ports on my router. I don't pay for static IP address through CBC and I don't intend to just to play Destiny...

Guess I'm screwed unless they fix it on their end. This is the only game I have online issues btw, so I'm inclined to think it's something they can fix...

I dunno, it's frustrating.

I'm very much enjoying people not knowing how the Ward of Dawn works yet in PvP and getting overkills and killtaculars in my bubble of invincibility in control games.

Plus you get a sticky nade! The ultimate in revenge from the grave!

Everyone playing destiny. Even the haters.

Personally, I'm trying to juggle Destiny PVP, this thread, and writing that Destiny fanfiction all at once.

Also, this chapter is coming along niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

I'm introducing a few new elements that benefit the story--because artistic license so why not--such as an entity known as ZEITGEIST that "recruits" (enslaves) scavengers to pick up loot for it.

How is the sun singer subclass for the warlock?

I wasn't expecting to like it but it's actually pretty beastly in a Fireteam. Radiance + Song of Flame = total destruction for the enemy. The cooldown time is rapid, maybe 3-4 seconds for your abilities.

Fusion rifle is pretty interesting. I just kind of started getting into them.
Yeah it is.

I just want to make it clear that I'm having a blast with the game. I just happen to agree with previous posters that the weapon variety could be a little better.

Skills and weapon features mean way more than you can imagine. The only thing that doesn't matter are the attack and defense stats

I just wonder how they take into account the nuances of the different guns. Like, fire rate, damage, etc. Do they equalize most of it?

I get that the character build and gear bonuses are the only differentiator otherwise. But, specifically, with weapons, it would be nice to know.

Like, if I have a level 6 rifle that has a great fire rate and stability, am I better off using that in PVP than a level 16 that is crappier in all stats except damage?

A sweet 6-13 match because of poor hit detection. Is there a difference between pistol, shotgun and AR?

The AR tore through people, thankfully. But the shotgun and pistol had spotty detection for me.
Canons are OP when they actually connect. But I cannot rely on them anymore.

It's definitely a grower,

Not a shower ;)

Hey, anyone know:

1) Why the Twitter integration isn't working (says not available)
2) How to do screenshots minus the UI, is this possible?

Ugh, no matchmaking in the weekly strikes, why are they making this do fucking difficult, I'm started to get frustrated with just how little you can communicate in this game. Can't tell those 2 warlocks to save their ability for adds. Because no one accepts fireteam invites. Can't say shit to people in the tower period unless you invite them. Add a damn shout/tell/party messaging pleaded bungie. Enjoying the game otherwise, but I just get a mean face whenever I read the "social" subtitle under the tower.

Is there a way to not get booted from Vita party chat when you start PS4 remote play? Wanted to play with my friends tonight and I couldn't talk, since I only had the remote play party chat which can't use the Vita mic.

People on Xbone.

Is anyone having weird issues with not being able to see notifications or not being able to have other people hear you/hear other people?

Can you imagin though if you could. That's a lot to explore out there. But I guess it will just make a nice view.

I want Bungie to make at least a couple parts of the city explorable. Maybe have high-level vendors there that only stock top-tier weapons and armor (like Level 30 requirements), as well as be a center for player homes of some sort and Guild Halls.

You can probably tell by looking at my post history that I really want Guild Halls.

So uh.. How are you supposed to level your 2nd subclass when all the story missions are done? With the bounties that only update once per day? Or am I actually supposed to just shoot at mobs for hours on end until I get a grenade, doublejump, and super?

Haven't finished the story but I've been shooting at things and doing bounties.
