do you know this for sure? i would hate to spend time farming on the standard difficulty if there is a higher drop percentage on the level 24 version in vangaurd playlist. what level were the enemies in the video of the person who made this method public?

Any difficulty higher than normal has the heroic modifier by default.
Set it to hard mode or above.

On Orbit go to the mission select. On the left side are the Daily, and weakly missions. Including the heroic strike.

Absolutely loving this game now! Sort of mixed feelings at first, I did enjoy it but something didn't quite work for me. Was playing it early and suddenly everything just clicked for me and I was in! For me the shooting is as good as I've played but the MMO side of things isn't quite there yet which I think is pretty normal for MMOs. Things like finding your way to missions isn't as simple as it could but I'd imagine things like that will be sorted out at some point.
My only real concern at the moment is how similar the environments look so far, hopefully that picks up moving through the game though. Why the hell can't you listen to your Ghost through the DualShock 4? It's worked well in games so far and it seems a perfect set-up here.

no, not sure. just spend an hour farming the lvl 16 strike, got around 8 blues and one epic which all ended up being lvl 20 gear (lvl 25 hunter)

Start maxing your weekly crucible and vanguard points since you can only earn so many a week. You should pick up some light armor along the way too.

No real way, I've got most of them randomly through PVP, Strikes, engrams, etc. No real method.

I think I'd enjoy the PvP a lot more if supers were disabled in the crucible.

Anybody know for sure if the exotic armor engram from xur is for a random class?
Have an idea which Faction you want to represent to get their gear and weapons? Go buy one of their class items and keep it on in the Crucible and PvE.
If not, you'll automatically gain rep and marks with the Crucible and Vanguard handlers/quartermasters. Depends which sets you like best.

I can't believe I just realized this. But is it too late to join DestinyGAF? My friends are busy and aren't of a high enough level for the Raid next week, and it looks like I'm gonna need to join up with some people next week if I can get to at least level 25

Once you hit 20? Maybe the Daily Story and then Vanguard Strike playlist (vanguard viper, level 20).
My complaint regarding strikes, from what I've seen so far :
re- using models for bosses in strikes is absolutely criminal in a game this decade. A lot of bosses share the same model rigging and do the same attack as trash mobs.
Fighting a bigger version of the same enemy that's just a bigger bullet sponge won't make strikes very fun to play in the long run.

I was doing ok yesterday. Managed to stay positive. Even with all the lag.
But today it was impossible. I followed this guy, shot him in the back, melee'd him and he just ignored me.

Despite the reviews I really didn't have much to complain about till now. Got disconnected and kicked out of the my mission twice in the last 20 min. This shit best be fixed. If this is the way this always online crap is going to play out this will be getting traded in ASAP.
