after being 20 for a bit I'm starting to feel unsure about what exactly to do. I run the strike playlist but it's the same strike missions over and over and the progress to get vanguard stuff is soooo slow... not much else to do -- not sure I can hang. I like grinding and loot games, but this is just so sorely lacking in content and so repetitive.
Yeah, I think that's the reason it's encouraged, but in strikes/raids you rarely get a chance to pop an enemy from up close.
Is there some reason grenade cooldown + super cooldown wouldn't help a titan more? Are they predisposed to not be good with grenades, or something like that?

First time, mate.If I do the weekly strike over again will I get those 3 strange coins again, or is it only the first time I do it? I'd like to be able to get an exotic from that dealer before tomorrow ends

blink strike is almost worthless and throwing knives get more than enough perks from the skill tree
The only interesting endgame, imo, is pvp. I've done a few heroics, got through them with minimal problems and was bored all the way through. The Raid might change things up, who knows. Might be hard for me to get enough people together at the same exact time that are all geared properly, however.
Titans have the best grenades, imo. So no, there's no reason not to go with Intellect and discipline.
Nah. Defender Titan has a great sticky grenade. I'd spec the same as you're thinking.
My Bladedancer is Intellect and Strength with New Monarchy gear, but I'd roll FWC if I were you (I think they're Intellect and Discipline).

only the first time, but you can increase the difficulty to earn more coins

machine gun is fantastic. I recently got a rocket launcher that guides in on its target. It is amazing as well. It has landed in the air and gotten me triple kills multiple times. I still think the machine gun is slightly better overall. The guided rocket is still incredible at times though as well.

I took a stab at pvp after getting really annoyed at not being able to kill anyone. Replaced my scout rifle with assault rifle and dropped people left and right. Yeah...

There is a difference if you press Share for long or short, check whichever is you screenshot funktion.
Well, you get 3 marks a match for winning. The bounties are good for rep, but I don't think they give marks. I maxed out this week, but I played a lot of crucible matches to do that. Rumble is probably the fastest way, since games end quick, though.
Maybe there's a better way, but I hit share, screenshot, and then back out as fast as humanly possible after. I grab the screen later and try not to waste time beyond selecting either video or screenshot.
Hold down the share button for a 3ish seconds, then release. I had the same problem too.
Double tap share or is it hold down? I have it set so a normal share tap takes a screenshot personally.

just got the Thorn exotic handcannon from a bounty....that was a lot of bullshit on the moon. The last step involving the boss of the strike mission took hours

So does the cryptarch actually start carrying useful engrams the more you level him up? Mines at 5 and he's managed to have an inventory...of just white engrams.

There are a lot of things in Destiny that rely way too much on grinding. Why do I have to have 50 materials from a planet to sell them to a vendor? Why do I need over a hundred marks for one piece of armor? And as you said, why do all the vendor ranks go up so slow?
I understand Bungie wants to extend the life expectancy of Destiny, but I think they went a bit too far with how long it takes to unlock certain items, especially with the rather repetitive nature of the content we have available.
What is the max Cryptarch level? I have him at 6 or 7 right now.

Hold the Share button for a bit.
So I did some farming and turned a bunch of engrams in. Already had my exotic helm and legendary in all slots except the chest piece. Sure enough I get a legendary out of a blue engram and look at that it's actually for my class. All legendary or better now baby.
Need to upgrade this tomorrow which should take me to lvl 29 hopefully. I can't stop playing this shit.

This. Anyone new to the PS4 should read this.
You get to the cave at the end of the Nexus strike, kill the goblins and jump off a cliff to respawn just before the goblins. Repeat to farm drops. I've gotten ~10 engrams an hour the times I've done it and come away with a legendary engram each time, too. Engrams can give coins.
So, either that or doing the Crucible are among the best ways to get coins if you've exhausted the weekly strike already. Crucible can drop coins and also engrams for a chance at a coin.
Oh, there's a setting for it? Cos yeah that's basically what I'd want.
