Coca-Cola Is Bringing Surge Back - Selling Through Amazon

Red Bull has pretty much out marketed them around here. I have to order a case through think geek for decent packaging and basically have to buy 2 cases to not get reamed through shipping.

They're readily available in California at classy liquor markets called Bevmo. $2 a bottle, however, is a little pricey. I've yet to find a place that sells them in multiple quantities.

Surge is back, and I'm restricted from having caffeine. I've basically given up soda, but i would still love to have at least one can for nostalgia. Damn you restrictions!

When I was in middle school, a gigantic Surge truck came to my school and gave out cases to all the kids. Seems like the worst fucking idea to give already hyped up kids more sugar but oh well.

Back in stock, bought some. At that price, it will probably be the only order I ever place.

Pepsi, take a hint... Josta!!!

$1.15 per can isn't too bad.. considering it's a soda that's been gone since 2001. Nostalgia is definitely worth the higher price.

At least shipping isn't stupidly expensive. That'd be a turning factor for me.

I only bought one for now in case it tastes different.

Remember the Surge commercials with a group of people jumping over couches and knocking people over all fighting for a can of Surge?? We used to do that in high school. My friend even broke his knee cap in one of our Surge episodes. This brings back so many memories of high school.

Comparable to convenience store pricing, I'll admit. I'm just used to grocery prices of $4 or so for 12-packs (though those are 12oz cans, not 16oz).

$42 every couple of months to avoid shipping costs at all isn't TOO terrible. But I'd rather see these suckers show up in stores again. Maybe if they do well enough? Who knows...

Surge is no good without a Monster Burger from Hardees. Used to use the former to wash down the latter all the time, back in the day.

SURGE was meh at best. Bring back Sprite remix

Ahhh yeah!

My body is going to hate me, but this nectar of the gods will help with the sting. I remember back when cocothis came out how many cola machines turned into straight surge only machines. It guaranteed I'd have one each day that was till they got rid of it for a Pepsi blue machine. I'm interested in seeing what's changed since I liked Vault because of it's similarities.

Born in '83 so I was the target market for Surge. It was clearly marketed to compete with the newly successful 'X-treme' Mountain Dew reputation, and Mellow Yellow wasn't really cutting it. I cannot remember what Surge tasted like, but the commercials will forever be imprinted in my brain. I would buy some if released in stores, I'm not paying a premium for it.

Surge!

If there's proof that god exists, this is it.

Really hoping they restock soon, I would love to send my brother a case before word gets out. We loved Surge as kids and always talk about how we'd like to see it return.

Edit: And it comes back in stock right after I typed this. Neat.

Sprite remix plz
GOD, YES. And not that shitty version P. Diddy endorsed (there were two versions). The other one was fucking nectar of the gods. I remember when they stopped selling it in GA, then I went to a hacker convention in Tennessee and found it at a local Kroger. I bought a whole 12 pack of that shit and some Murray Vanilla cookies.

The reviews on Amazon are entertaining.

My cousin and I were just talking about Surge awhile back. We were tempted to order one of those 10-year-old bottles of the syrup mix out of curiosity. I'm glad we came to our senses. Looks like I'll be enjoying a nice, refreshing, sugary can of nostalgia on Wednesday.

If Coca-Cola was willing to bring back one deliciously unhealthy drink from my childhood, maybe there's hope for another. We need a campaign to bring back Ecto-Cooler!

We had a Surge-only machine in my high school back in like 97(?); a quarter per can.

It's a miracle I still have all my teeth.

Back when they thought banning soda would help the youth. I'd rather see the youth bring soda into the school rather than what they do now.

We're sorry. The item Surge, 12 ct, 16 FL OZ Cans is no longer available from the seller you selected

I have a Surge memory: Before I left Missouri the mall down there had this giant Surge event. They had posters, banners, and they were giving out free 20 oz Surge bottles. I never saw anything like that before.
