Soul Sacrifice Delta is still owning me after all this time. Incredible game, and so packed with content and depth.. I absolutely adore it.
I like demon gaze but drpgs feel like a separate genre from traditional jrpgs for the sake of this argument. Not only are they usually more focused on gameplay than story, but it's really hard to screw up a drpg when the gameplay is derivative of a pretty standardized system.
On the other hand compile heart's traditional jprgs can't hold a candle to output from atlus, falcom, tales team, etc.
I didn't play it much but I'm planning to. I like the aesthetics but need er manage to have the time for it.
I'm saying it's hard to count that as a "recent great JRPG" when it's essentially almost 6 years old now.
I think Tales of Xillia 2 is a pretty good recent JRPG.
I thought it's a well known fact that CP's games are on the low budget even for mid-size developer standard? At least they are still entertaining, despite all the hate they are getting from people here on GAF.
Omega Quintet is actually what triggers my motivation for buying a PS4. I just decided to make my purchase when I know Bloodborne is coming early 2015. If only Zestiria is on the PS4 too.

Yup. They said it was a Playstation Event and they referenced it as a press conference.
They also said that Sony has two games still to announce at TGS.

IGN's Mitch Dyer is very, very confused. He seems to be unaware of the press conference held on September 1st or that Sony historically hosts their TGS keynote before TGS. He also links an article about 2 unannounced PS4 games, but said article is from before the September 1st press conference and never talks about 2 unannounced TGS PS4 games???

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia will host a presentation on September 17th. But it's tailored exclusively to the non-Japan Asian market, as the Asia Session name implies. They held one last year and unless you lived in that market, there was no reason to watch it. The only announcements were of game localizations into Asian languages and region-specific hardware bundles.

I'm actually interested in this event, as I live in Asia, and I usually buy the Asian versions of games if they have no online modes / dlcs since they are cheaper.
Omega Quintet, Neptunia VII and the Fairy Fencer F sequel will have definitely justified my purchase.

The I played was great, it uses touch screen to drag kawaii balloon heart from being snapped in pieces and back touch to change environment (sorta like a slide). I heard it can get difficult down the game so I hope that is the case if not....then its not really that gloomy.
also it's possible for it to be able to ported to PS4 like tearaway sincet Yoshida can take away the games original idea and have it expanded. you never know.
