PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | September 2014

Wow, you guys can't tell how relieved I am. I've been reading nothing but praises everywhere, I thought there was something wrong with me since I just wasn't enjoying the game.

I think that style of combat is very divisive. It can feel sluggish and boring and can take a while to get to the point where you have enough to do to make it interesting. But I played MMOs with similarish systems for like 6 years through High School and undergrad (ain't nobody got time for that in med school though) so I was used to it, and I ended up enjoying the game a lot. But totally to each their own, I can definitely see why it wouldn't be for everyone.

Resivilations2 on Vita has got to be a mistake. Probably another Type-0 mess up. I'd be very surprised if it turn out to be real.

Also, my copy of Danganronpa2 has finally made it's way to my country. Hopefully customs doesn't latch on to it, and I'll finally be able to play it within the week.

Oh, the Despair! I hope you're ready for despair.

Decided to hit up Velocity 2x before HDN and it's just as fun as the original. Can't believe it was a PS+ freebie.

Dungeon Travellers 2-2 announced for Vita.

am i the only vita gamer that doesn't like patronizing fan service

I think it is less that people actively like the fan service, but more there are large numbers of people capable of ignoring fan service if the rest of the game is fun and has solid gameplay or other story. And also a large number of people comfortable enough to joke about it. But the people buying games solely for the fanservice aspect? I doubt many people discussing such games here are buying them for that reason.

I don't know about you, but most guys I met who's into fanservice are all pretty cool guys. Easy going and open minded. I think the best thing about them is they understand everyone has different taste and aren't being a hard-ass when people talking about something they don't like/hate to them.
And all of them have that crazy vibe going in their head, too.

Given the number of people who complain about every Vita fanservice game I'm quite certain no one is alone in both having a vita and not liking them.

I'm not one of them, don't really mind either way, as long as it's handled at least decently well (either totally optional/not in the way or handled with humor rather than attempts at raw sex appeal), and the game is still enjoyable for other factors.

My favorite kind of fan service though is self-aware video game reference humor. That's why I love Neptunia, there's actually a lot more of that than there are pantsu.
plus none of these games have hot spikeball ladies

Guys don't get too hyped for TGS, it's Sony after all.
About RE:R2... we are talking about Sony AND Capcom on Vita... aren't you asking too much? :\

Why not just DT3? :\

Why not? Bloodborne , FF type-0 , Uncharted 4 , MGS V a new vanillaware? game. It is going to be great!

Hey doods,

What was that 2d platformer indie game coming out that's supposedly like MegaMan X meets SoTN?

Time something?

Any news on that?

Why are you excited for thing you know will come out?

And honestly, I don't care about those games aside from Bloodborne, which even the released date is known. Why would I be excited for Sony in TGS?

I actually care about Bandai Namco's stage more than Sony.
