It's under recent activity for my DriveClub preorder and the game is named "CUPCAKE".

Not only that but in FH2 you don't even need to know how to drive! See a corner? Ignore it, put your foot down and drive in a straight line to win. Who needs roads in a racer? Online racing is going to be awesome.

Someone expresses their comment on the game and it is taken for trolling then you retort with an even more troll like statement. (Even though that comment did to a bit too far)

You do realize Drive Club isn't going to be very realistic and it is arcade orientated right. I could come right back at that and say enjoy people ramming your car in the back on a corner as they have nowhere else to go, we could be at it all day!

I do believe they will both be great games but and comments like sterile and boring are right but I a good way! It shows they have nailed the reality look and people are seeing what they would everyday which is why it isn't anything new. Maybe people are perhaps expressing their viewpoint in the wrong way in the manner that they don't like traditional racing games which is what Drive Club is, whereas Horizon is more geared towards a bit more chaotic racing.

Personally I am sick of traditional racing games but Drive Club looks to be a great entry into the genre and will be really immersive and I am sure racing fans will enjoy it. Maybe people looking at Driveclub are more of the Motorstorm vein of players which is probably why you will see a lot of these comments as they were expecting Drive Club to appeal in that way which it simply won't.
 
I can't wait for the official Driveclub and Forza threads so we can weed out everyone and enjoy the damn games irrespective of one another.

I agree with you about trolls need to go away much quicker especially in every DC thread, but you didn't really addressed nib's observation that you were quick to point out game4life but somehow you missed all the trolls talking about FH2 in a DC thread (i.e timlot, dillyh etc.)

This thread has gone to shit already after the 2nd page with a post of FH2 gif by poster named of all people "thepowerofX".

I've played Driveclub, it's still pretty sim. It's not as harsh on you for failure like Forza or GT, but it's not pure arcade by any means.

I'm wearing a Driveclub shirt right now I'm really biased

I agree. I just hope people see the game they want to play and that Drive Club isn't supposed to be all fun loving and has serious elements with an arcade feel.

That and people to understand if someone states things like boring and sterile even if they are attacking the game it isn't bad! I think sterile was too far as some of the vistas are terrific! (I could see non outdoors people saying it and meaning it though)

This game looks great... really! But seriously, they NEED to stop playing that damn same music already! I'm sick of that song on every single DC trailer... and I would not be surprised if I had to listen that same song on the game's intro AND the game's menu, not saying on some races! Gosh! If that happen I will turn the music off!! (I hope that they have that option at least)
 
Game looks....disappointing. Then again, so does FH2. I'll need to have the game in front of me to make a solid judgement, but it;s looking like Project Cars might give me the realistic fix I need.
 
Going to have to resub my PS+ before this comes out to try it out. Looks great, hope it is as fun as it is pretty. The videos of DC and the FH2 demo have shown that you can have a pretty awesome sense of speed in a 30 fps racer.
 
Rushy pushes for music off by default, and now we get the 'Wez da moosic?' comments.

This is why, if I were a dev, I would never listen to internet 'communities'.

Looks really nice, the gameplay actually looks better than what I have seen up to this point, mistakes seem to be punished slightly more which for me is a good thing.

Only complaint from that short stint is how close the walls are to the track. I know, I know, sounds stupid etc, but wall-riders in Forza 5 make me furious and you can't even do it on every corner there.

Those snow capped mountains look phenomenal. Even in 540p or whatever that crap is.

Why would you not be surprised? What if DC has better music than FH2?
