Retire early by buying videogame companies stock (Capcom)

Capcom may be a solid company but their P/E is 37 I think. That's quite high for non high tech /biotech firm.

Hell, MS is also high and so are most of high flyers. Current market makes me nervous and has some signs of say 1998-1999 or perhaps 2007 with less mortgage shenanigans.
I've been waiting for a bubble burst since like 2015 and it hasn't happened. I think people have more money to invest than companies in the stock market have value. The P/Es are crazy high.

I don't know, I am getting pre-bubble burst vibes. This might be another year before things go lower, but I could easily see 20-30% drop. Hopefully I am wrong.

for gaming, have a bunch of NVDA and playing with GME

everythings up a billion% so if it goes down 30%, who cares
worst thing you can do is not be in the market

The really interesting thing about Capcom is there Legacy Catalog sales.

It's the Snowball that keeps on building. They hope to sell over 40 million units this year!

They obviously need to sort out Wilds but come on this is gamers we're talking about. People forgotten Cyberpunk and No man's sky?!

If worse comes to comes there players will go back to World and Rise.

You are too late, our bro Topher Topher has already retired.

I don't own any video game stock per se. Own AMD so on the hardware side.

Buy solid companies like MS, META etc and buy and hold. Don't bother timing the market- just make sure you are diverse and don't use money you need.

Time in the market always beats timing the market, unless you are Nancy Pelosi
We'll see if the Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments (Pelosi) just made it out of Senate committee as the Honest Act. We'll see what happens and keep an eye on who votes against it.

Sell high, buy low.
But only buy low if you think it'll grow.
Right around a console launch, you'll see troll threads about stocks dropping quickly.
They're just selling high and rebuying when it lowers shortly after to make a good profit later on.
Doesn't always happen, but when it does. cha-ching!
