Is LA GAF ok? It's hotter than the sun.

I really hate LA people complaining about the weather, you have no idea how good you got it. I'd actually move there if the city wasn't shit compared to nyc

It's pretty much a rule that everyone that doesn't live in Hawaii gets to bitch about their weather every once and a while. Even SoCal has its shit days as you can tell.

Plenty of people in LA have lived in other places, including NYC. Be glad you have seasons.
I live in OC, but I've also spent most of my life in the south with the heat, mosquitoes, and humidity...and it's hot as fuck out here. Thank god I got central air.

Hey LA GAF: I'm visiting there soon, is there any loophole or shady place I can try to get a MMJ rec if I'm not really a CA resident? (Sorry to be OT in the OT)

I've lived in a number of places before, LA is the worst place I've lived with Seattle being the best. Some people just hate the heat and sun.

Q: What if I don’t have a California ID?
A: If you don’t have a CA ID we need to establish that you are a resident of California. The easiest way to do this is to bring an official document (lease agreement, utility bill, bank statement, etc.) that has your name and CA address printed on it. Please bring another form of picture ID as well.

Or you can ask a friend.

And it's perfect.

No, it isn't. Higher electric bills, more waste, more gas consumption, risk of sunburn / increased skin cancer chances, etc. There is no reason to have to put up with that kind of heat for more than 3 months out of the year - especially not into Fall

lol, it's NorCal that averages that. SoCal regularly goes over 80 a good portion of the year.

The Bay != Norcal. San Francisco is basically IN the ocean, of course it's always temperate there.

The same valley that much of southern California is in, is also much of Northern California :P

If I go to the average high temperatures on Wikipedia, Sacramento (Just since it's where I'm at and it's nicely in the valley up here) averages 10 degrees HOTTER than LA does for the summer months, and 10 degrees COLDER for the winter. Fun times. LA is like a 10 degree swing yearround for the average high.

EDIT: If you guys actually had it as bad in the summer as you think, this little heat wave wouldn't be murdering everyone because central air would be standard, like it is up here.

Yeah I think it's safe to say we're through the worst of it. It's going to heat up again next week, but I don't know about seeing a week over 100 again.

As long as it cools down at night, I don't care if it's hot all day. I can't deal with that 95° and humid at midnight shit anymore. Fuck that.

the yahoo weather iOS app is making little heat ripples over the image of local scenery, and i do not appreciate it one bit.

I'm going in the Ocean tomorrow, the water is still around 70 degrees and it's hot again. At least I don't live more inland like a lot of you do. Live about 15 mins from the Beach in the South Bay.
