Honestly i feel offended by this
I would have preferred getting nothing instead of Agito+ that not only is still a f2p game, but it also doesn't have nothing new despite the "+".
And what about its uber ridiculous trailer? I saw it after the Type 0 hd one and it looked to me that Square wanted to humiliate Vita.
The only good thing about all of this is that if Vita is really a smartphone for Square then there's a little chance to get Deus Ex: the Fall.
I'd rather have DQVIII

In my case it's not having enough room on my 64 GB for all that goodness.
Guess it is time I got the Retail ver. of Sonic Racing Transformed, that game takes 2ish GBs...

I dunno, the footage doesn't look so hot to me. Besides there's nothing to stop Vita running a worse looking version.
Revelations 2 looks far worse than RE 6(i mean it looks like Revelations HD for gods sake) , If Revelations 1 runs on 3DS and looks gorgeous Revelations 2 could run on Vita too. Remember is Capcom they did excellent convertions of games on portables. I mean on Vita we have Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter x Tekken running with few differences from their console versions.
I doubt this game will come to Vita but even the press is confused about it.
Vita didn't even get RE:R1 that was a 3ds game...

Ok that we are not used to impressive looking games on Vita, but Vita could totally run something like that.

Oh yeah I forgot RER1 ran on the 3DS heh. Mind you I didn't see any footage of RER2, but if it does get announced for Vita, I'll ask my brother if he wants that ver. All he ever plays on the PS3 is Walking Dead S1 and S2, so an on-the-go RE game might suit him fine.
IMO, PS4 will get PSX emulation via PS Now eventually. Just get them while they're cheap NOW so that when the service allows you to play classics on the PS4, you have them ready for play and having gotten them for dirt cheap.

I know. I wouldn't have expected it. It's just wiith both Sony and Capcom listing it, plus the press reporting on it. They really need to make an official statement about it.
Revelations 2 seems to have little to do with the first one , story wise. Much like Dead Aim series . They all have something in common as in the bigger picture they are related but i think we should be able to play iit IF ever comes to Vita which is probably not the case.

If Ps1-2 is through Psnow I'll be really disappointed. The machine should be perfectly capable of running both natively

But PS Now is a paid service. You won't get to play the games you already own.
I would do what you said if I knew they were going to implement emulation soon enough. But given the time they take to update PS4's OS I'm not hopeful.

Agreed, but it's probably easier for them not to have to develop/port emulators. I'll be doubly disappointed - I live in Ireland and I cannot imaging PSNow ever coming here.

The issue isn't running them.
The HUGE issue is the rights to run them on a new console. Same reason we ain't getting Logitech wheels working on PS4. More contracts to sign, more money to hand over. Even then it can be almost impossible to negotiate a new contract if the rights have changed hands since the last deal was done.
PS Now might have more negotiating power since it's a rental service with possibly more revenue potential for licence holders.

Haha, oh God that Virtua Tennis comparison. The PS3 version looks horrid.
We'll never forget those PS4 that gave their life trying to run Watchdogs, rip in piece sweet princes.

Damn! Nice work. Still need to get deep into Velocity.
I had a lot of fun with it. The frame rate isn't perfect, but there's just so much content it's almost ridiculous. If frame rate is something that really bothers you then it might be a deal breaker, but otherwise it's a great game.
There's also Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate that just recently came out and Samurai Warriors 4 coming out next month for Musou games on the Vita.

If you are not good and willing to practice lots you're not going get the platinum. Theyare amazing games even if you don't though
I hear it's not a very good port (performance problems and framerate issues). You'll probably be better off getting Dynasty Warriors Next, Warriors Orochi 3, or Samurai Warriors 4 instead.
Yup, but in EU they removed PS emu.
Dynasty Warriors 8 is way better than Next, slightly dodgy frame rate (That's the only issue with the port) and all. It's just a better game.
I can't find Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate on Amazon, is that a PSN only release in Europe? (Edit: Seems like it is.)
I can tolerate a dodgy framerate btw. I'll probably wait for Samurai Warriors to see how that turned out, then make my decision. Thanks!

Yeah indeed it was, unfortunately Samurai Warriors 4 will be too for Vita.
Were there major gameplay changes in DW8XL? And didn't the Vita version also get a graphical downgrade, or am I remembering things wrong?

From Koei Tecmo, yes. Other smaller publishers are still betting on retail releases.

I think 8 looks better than Next. The stages and characters in Next are all really basic, plain and the maps are smaller compared to 8. The mandatory Infinity Blade style touch screen fights are stupid and really detrimental to the overall experience in Next too imo. Plus there's just a ridiculous amount more content in 8. It performs worse yeah, but if you can ignore the frame rate issues it's great. I didn't have a problem with the frame rate personally, it never felt like it got in the way of the gameplay.
SW4 may perform a bit better but yeah that's kind of yet to be seen, and I doubt it'll have as much content as DW8XL.
Not in the portrait mode like the iOS version. Actually, not the iOS version. You don't want that.
