Listen I love Final Fantasy and likely will buy this once we see more, BUT I can't shake that between their body language and silly ass car, this is a group of spoiled lazy brats that I hope dies. If I had to speculate, I would say that the footage from that trailer is from very early in the game. Possibly first 2-3 hours of the game.
That would at least explain the slower combat when compared to previous trailers and the lack of magic used (maybe they haven't gained the ability).
I doubt you drive around with that car much at all.

See I always liked sasukes powers, and character design but he was just terrible as a character. Maybe this can be a way to finally enjoy sasuke
Type-0 is known to be a good/great game and substantial work's been put into the remaster.
I am buying this primarily for Type-0.No "suckery" imo.

No but seriously, I'm more than a decade past dismissing anything because I consider it too immature. I read my nephew childrens book sometimes and often seem to enjoy them more than he does. I'm just saying that I feel I've 'moved on' from FF, where most people would put all the blame on SE saying that "they just don't make them like they used to".
I think C.S. Lewis had a great quote about criticising maturity.
Sasuke is one of the most iconic characters in anime. Kishimoto must have done something right.

Well, that makes the complains about driving around the car even more pointless. You drove cars in FF VIII, but it didn't amount to much in the end.
By the way, were those Imps in the trailer. I would LOVE to see tons of classic Final Fantasy monsters make an appearance.

I agree. Lots of misinformed people go on about "Oh he has black, anime-ish hair, and dresses in black! Another Final Fantasy emo-whiny protagonist that cries all the time."
Those people have never payed attention to what Nomura has said countless times about Noctis, and what the trailers themselves have shown us.
Noctis seems to be shy around women, or at least around Stella, and he tries to put up a "royal", serious persona while around her. But when he is with his friends, he is impulsive, maybe even brash and careless "I can do everything!" kind of guy, and he actually seems optimistic and positive.
I really pity the people who judge the character by the way he looks or dresses, and choose to ignore the personality that he has shown so far, so they can just keep trolling and faking "concern".

Yeah remember when people bought Zone of the Enders just for MGS2's demo? Then were surprised ZOE was actually awesome? lol
From what I've seen, Type-0 looks good. And I like that it has action gameplay. And I don't even care what the FFXV demo consists of. I just want to be able to play with the controls and see the game actually running on my TV. It'll have been a good 9 years or so since it's announcement. I'll take anything PLAYABLE of FFXV at this point.

Yeah I don't think his character is terrible at all. If people just hate him because he's a jerk or because of his attitude in general then that's understandable, but he's not terribly written.

Relatively speaking, Noctis gives me a Dante vibe if Dante randomly decided to use just for men and color his hair. I have no idea if Dante is considered attractive...
It is quite possible that folks can be simply against certain styles and trends in general. I mean at one point glam rockers were "attractive" (i guess), but that really isn't the case in general anymore as that style is no longer prevelant.
You have to be a male otaku to understand the sausage fest dislike.

Seems like a move where Noctis can target an enemy and teleport and attack them.
I don't know if it is the gif's fault, but the first thing I noticed is that the old version has a disgustingly choppy framerate and the new one is as smooth as these main character's faces.

Noctis seems likeable enough. They did a great job with his design. His expressions and maneurisms comunicate confidence, but not in a way that almost feels overbearing. There is a fine line here, and Square has as of now pulled out all the stops.
Of course this could all be ruined with terrible dialogue and even worst voice acting.

Maybe you get something for timing your evades just right?

Im guessing you watch the naruto anime and not caught up with the manga, because you cant think sasuke is good after this current arc. Good manga (naruto WAS good) can have terrible main characters. Popular=/=Iconic. Goku is iconic, Kenshiro is iconic, Luffy is iconic, Yusuke is iconic, Naruto is iconic. Outside of Vegeta none of their sidekicks are iconic
