I wish I could have recorded it, but I got a quad kill inside a Titan's shield in control at one point. They were capping the zone and I ran in and nova bombed inside his shield. compressed it on them :)
 
got a mote of light in the middle of a crucible match, sniped him and up popped the mote, game still had a minute or so left. I was on a pretty good streak though probably why.
 
Need a 3rd person for the weekly heroic strike on PS4. Gonna keep it at lvl 22. Have myself (26 Warlock) and my buddy a 25 hunter.

PSN is kaiotheforsaken hit me up/add me and hop on over.

One of my favorite things to do. If the going looks rough I just go kamikaze. It's the most fun to jump up in the air and throw it right down on people below. Often times I come out alive if I don't miss :)
 
I picked up an exotic from a legendary engram! Thought for sure it would be a blue.

Its a primary shotgun called universal remote. Cant wait to see what it can do.

Mars. Take your bike, run forwards into the battlezone between Vex and Cabal. Just walk around, there's respawning chests that drop engrams frequently. Once you learn their positions, you can just walk back and forth and get multiple chests. They spawn instantly/every 30 seconds.

In an weird/ironic twist of fate, I had a friend actually get a Legendary weapon (Doctor Nope I think?) out of a blue engram, imagine that.

But yeah, I think probably after this weekend and getting enough marks to get all legendaries in my armor slots I'm pretty much done. The Crucible is kind of a clusterfuck of way too many things that one-shot you (which is easily abusable but I don't find necessarily fun), and all of my upgrades have come from abusing one of the farm spots. The really fundamental core of the game is fun and it totally scratches my OCD itch, there's just really not enough variety or things to do. It's ridiculous that they've already repeated some Bounties multiple times now (looking at you double Fusion Rifle kills). And honestly almost all of my friends are struggling to get past level 21/22, not sure how much more any of them are going to stick around for, especially since the Raid is something that is just not going to practically happen for most of them anytime soon and that's apparently the endgame. I'm sure I could grind up to 26+ and get with some folks here to do it if absolutely nothing else but eh. The game is oddly soulless in a way. I'll be keeping an eye on it, I think some issues are going to require larger content (i.e. DLC) that's not coming real soon, but they can probably make some short-term improvements. But right now it's kind of a mess, probably my biggest disappointment in gaming since either Halo 4 or Crackdown 2. Sadface.

Doesn't make it not incredibly stupid and something that deserves to be harped on non-stop until they do something about it. I absolutely agree that even the poorest performers should have a chance for drops to avoid a rich get richer situation, but come the fuck on man.

I fucking love it, just got mine. The aiming on it really throws me off.

Then on top of getting that? Got a pair of legendary engrams and...Ice Breaker sniper rifle! My god awful luck is finally turning around maybe!

Yes. I completed it this afternoon. 2 hours to get the 500 points for void kills in Cruxible and about an hour or so to kill the elite Wizard in the Summoning Pits. It wasn't that bad, but man, the Hive Knights do not stop shooting at you.

Hmm, do I need to farm mars for Relic Iron (I'm level 24 but don't have Mars unlocked because I didn't finish the story I guess), or is it possible to get otherwise?

The things he sold last week required Strange Coins or Motes of Light. Relic Iron is a material used for upgrades.

I just farmed that spot in Old Russia for about an hour and got 4 rares, a bunch of greens but no legendary engrams. On the plus side, the public event spawned twice and I got gold on both and got Ascendant Energy. I've had enough though.

Oh, and the easiest way to farm that area is killing one of the Pike dregs on Forgotten coast. Then, take the pike and setup in the farm area. Infinite ammo, easy street lol.

If he is, I need to get on to doing a little more engram farming. I need two more strange coins. I think I need 12 more motes of light to get the exotic engram though. =/

EDIT: NVM. Just saw the above two posts. That's good. lol. Gives me even more time.

You realize these people would quit PVP altogether if their loot chance was based on their performance? The only thing that's dumb about the system is if a team quits before the match starts, the other team still gets loot. I got a purple earlier in that exact situation.

My first legendary engram (came from pvp). Got this thing:

tried daily heroic mission solo, hardest mode.

Get to the library, defending it from the last wave of enemies before the level completes, two dregs left hiding behind pillars....


...disconnected


No biggie, it'll start me off at last checkpoint if i reload the mission, like it does with the standard story missions right?

...spawns at start of the entire mission...
 
Just had my first "fuck this game" moment. Entire team but one leaves in the middle, I stick it out cause, hey, I'm guaranteed gear with only two people, right? Nope, I get shit, team mate gets Rare Engram and a Rare weapon.

Fuck you Bungie. Penalize people that quit early, give gear to the poor saps that stick it out, or just don't even fucking bother.

RNGesus is smiling upon us today its looking like, got two legendaries from two blue engrams tonight even if one was a warlock armband that does nothing for me.
