Shadow of Mordor deserves more attention. Come in and be hyped with me.

Wish my redbox had PS4 games so I could check this out before buying it...

Because I'm betting this is going to be a sleeper hit. Will PSN have a Demo that isn't 30+ GB to download?

I don't think they adressed any of the PC technical questions. I am hesitating on getting this on Steam until we hear something, anything.

There is going to be a PC stream today according to the AMA. I want to say it started at 3? Not sure what time zone though. Sorry!

To me, the LOTR connection hurts this game quite a lot. I just can't see myself enjoying this scenario in the given setting.

Any PC information from the AMA?
I don't believe they mentioned any recommended specs or anything but they did say that the PC was a primary development platform and not ported from the console version. Monolith has strong PC roots so I'm sure they are taking the PC version seriously.

Are any of the original devs behind F.E.A.R. and NOLF left at Monolith though?

Reading the reddit interview right now.
It drives me fucking crazy that people are comparing this game to Assassin's Creed. THEY ARE NOTHING ALIKE!
I'm not enthusiastic about the persistence of PR personalities in the videogame industry at the moment, but Monolith should have hired someone who knew his trade and would have known how to put this bullshit to rest.
Destiny not an MMO? excellent PR-speak that brain-washed almost every individual in and out of the game-press. Getting dePlater out there and show the game in its full glory was the right move, but they should have had a better strategy to deal with the "Shadow of Mordor using Assassin's Creed assets" gossip.

edit: he did a great job answering the lore-maniac. Dude obviously couldn't take it and started arguing semantics and details XD

I really like that they show a lot of the game pre release especially the nemesis system.

Shows that they have confidence about the game.
Yeah, it's been sweet. I'm a game dev in the Seattle area so I know some people at Monolith and they are extremely confident in it.

I've already been sold on this for a while but haven't watched anything as in depth as that stream. Cutting myself off. Looks great. The nemesis system looks deep and varied, as does combat possibilities. This game better do well. It really looks like it deserves it.

I can't believe that enemy actually remembered that the player called in those carigors in the previous fight.

That's amazing.

An already overhyped game that's basically going on graphics, physics and a very well established brand name deserves more attention. C'mon, let's help.....

It didn't get a lot of attention when I made this thread two months ago. Hardly anybody was talking about it. Now, I still don't think it's even remotely overhyped, and even still, hardly anybody is talking about the visuals and physics.

This game needs some more serious marketing. I honestly believe it's just an uncovered gem that many people need to find. So much fun and yet so little marketing.
