Level difference when you are above target doesn't actually make a ton of difference compared to being under target level. They are easier, but you could also easily get shit on doing a Warsat or something. It's not really the same as high level MMO characters in lowbie zones where you couldn't possibly be challenged. Patrol missions on Mars are hardly any different difficulty-wise than the ones on the Moon to my 26.

There's a level 8 yellow bar Vandal at the Forgotten Shore that was unstoppable. I had to unload almost all of my MG and primary ammo into him to kill him. What's the deal with that guy? He's near one of the caves near the path to The Grottos.

It's a weird glitch I had too, where the game thinks you don't have PS+. I had to quit out of the game and reboot and then it was fine.

I just rebooted it but it still says the same thing. I have plus and it says I do next to my name.....I also can't connect to the Destiny servers but it says I'm online.

bounties will eventually be what drives you due to the rep/exp that is gained.

So how many different kinds of chests have people gotten from Xur's engram? Like are there multiple chests for each class that it can be?

I got these from the Exotic engram today. wrong class but if other people say they got the sames ones the item pool might be slim.

I think that's a glitch. I farmed him the other day for the "Kill 10 Fallen majors/ultras" bounty, and most of the time he has normal health. Then he surprises you occasionally with what seems like 100x HP.

Seems like there's two Warlock exotic chests from it AFAIK; Heart of Praxic Fire and the Fang one.

So I went back to the cryptarch with a bunch of blue engrams and ranked up to lvl 7, got the little purple ticket and all I got were 2 blue engrams from it.
Now this was shitty as it was, but when I brought them to the cryptarch to decode them, I shit you not, he said to me "You are very lucky guardian". Dude knows how to push buttons anyway.

I'm starting to friggin love this game. Been playing for 6 hours now. I don't even care about the loot any more.

Been grinding bounties and strikes for some time until I finally got enough light to hit level 22. just finished my first level 22 strike and it was the most intense shit ever. Of course it turned out to be the hardest strike of the game (the one with the kabel chief and the end), so me and my random team struggled a bit. Was extremely close a times but we beat it. This is why I play video games.

The only thing really pissing me off here is the lacking communication. Really wanted to thank my team for that great strike.
