is like this in most MMOs. it's nice to have people around to help with stronger bosses and public events, but you also get those moments where they kill everything or grab items before you, whether it's intentional or not. the enemies can only respawn so fast.

Today I bought my Exotic Titan Helmet from the special weekend vendor (forget it's name). It was at this point that I discovered you can ever only have one Exotic piece of armor equipped at time.

O.O thats weird, yesterday night i got 3 ascendant energy and 2 shards straight just doing public events. And since today morning i have only gotten one.

you get 1 for the first, then you get a chance for stuff after that. and not a large chance it would seem.

You only get a reward for your first gold tier of the day. That's it. Then you're just collecting the marks and rep.

It's things like this that irritate me with the game. Public events aren't that common even with the doubling, so I don't see why they keep putting such high barriers for us to get resources.

You haven't met the Colossus yet, have you? Among the biggest pain in the ass enemies in the game.

I just decided to solo it and pray to the server gods that they wouldn't disconnect me tonight like they did with the Daily the other night. Probably my least favorite strike boss, though I haven't done any of the Mars strikes yet.

Maybe I'm just having shit luck all around. I'm also not camping in the high probability areas, just doing patrol missions. All day and only had two public events occur, one I arrived late to. But that's Destiny in a nut shell I suppose.

Didn't realize that you get level appropriate loot even in lower level areas. Went to piss about in old russia before work and got 2 blue engrams and did a public event all in just 15 mins or so.

Also I quite like it how even low level enemies can be a threat if you play recklessly and go into a fight in full on Rambo-mode.

I have no idea where you heard that from, but they're wrong. I've done enough bounties to get (and complete) two exotic bounties, and I haven't even heard of this being an option

Honestly I'd either save it if you plan on making a Titan, otherwise shard it. Once you start filling up on legendaries/exotics, you'll need a lot of shards for upgrades. Personally I shard everything I can't use except exotics. Those hunter legendaries will come

The only bounty I know of where you need them is for the pocket infinity exotic bounty where you need 10 rare or higher fusion rifles.

The duck and cover kind.

It really isn't about strategy what makes them irritating, though I'm sure they're much better to take on in a group where you can distract them. They're just really spongey enemies with probably some of the highest damage per second in non-boss mobs. Just saying that if you are already disappointed/frustrated with Cabal, it gets worse.

Cabal don't have much strategy to them aside from shoot in the head, or the arm/leg to expose the head with the phalanx. Groups can of course maneuver around phalanx and distract centurion and colossus heavy fire, but that's the extent.

I did this and didn't love it, but the best advice I can give is to grab a void sniper rifle. While sniping you'll die a lot less, allowing you to make a good amount if forward momentum. Plus you'll become a good sniper with all that practice.

Voidwalker's grenades, melee, and super all count for Void damage as well if you're a Warlock. Not sure if the other classes have an equivalent.

Having said that, I'm about to abandon that one too because of the death penalty. 500 kills with a particular kind of damage would be enough for this one, Bungie.

Yeha out of luck when you're a hunter. I did the exotic bounty for the shotgun and it was 100 times easier.

Played rumble for the first time and I absolutely LOVE it. It feels so much more contained and personal. And I destroyed my first match so that definitely helped my enjoyment lolol
